„What a great week … as others stated the property exceeded expectations …. Nice and roomy.. Kitchen is super well equipped … checkin was a breeze as door code provided and easy entrance. Master has great view of lake and sunrise… 2 bathrooms with showers is a bonus… water toys and inflatables were great as was the hot tub … lots of comfy chairs on dock and deck…. „The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. “

„Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. „Great place! Had all the amenities. Very welcoming. Great location. Thank you to the host! Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Easy access for manoeuvring our 24ft snowmobile trailer. OFSC Snowmobile Trail 179 was right out front. Hot tub was great! Beds were comfy. Very clean and comfortable. „We stayed in cottage # 1 which has an amazing view of Lake Baptiste. Despite the cottage being part of a resort, we had excellent privacy. The owners of the cottage were very welcoming and maintained contact with us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We were even treated to a boating/waterskiing excursion by the owners, which made our stay that much more memorable! A sandy beach was a two minute walk up the road where there were multiple water toys to keep us busy. ...

„I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper.“
