Brilliant Ballarat stay
Very happy with our stay. House was perfect. Ella’s communication was brilliant- warm and welcoming. We were lucky to be treated with beautiful Ballarat autumn weather. We visited the sound and light show across the road at sovereign hill.

Stop Looking!
If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Ballarat then stop looking as you’ve found it! Can not speak highly enough of Zee Zee House. The host has thought of everything. Communication was excellent. House was modern, clean and well laid out. Attention to detail apparent with a well equipped home. The deck offered a peaceful place to spend time with a view of gum trees and distant mountains. Would return and recommend without hesitation.

Incredible property
Ella's accommodation is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The property was neat, clean, beautifully renovated and had everything you could need for a few nights away from home, e.g., shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, kitchen cleaning products, olive oil, salt and pepper etc. The property has a really homely feel. The location is great, a stones through from Sovereign Hill, a small group of take away shops a very short walk and close to Ballarat Central. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and wouldn't think twice in staying her when we return.

Impressive house in a perfect location
The house has a great location close to city centre but with elevated views looking into trees made it private. Attention to detail with kitchen utensils and bathroom luxuries. A beautiful bath and large deck ensured we were relaxed after a long drive. An array of restaurants within walking distance made eating out easy and covered everyone's needs.

We had a fantastic time. My wife and teenage kids loved the house and it's location. Great views on a quiet street. The house was clean and every item we needed was provided for us. So many places to visit in and around Ballarat. Great place for anybody to relax and to recharge. 10 out of 10

Great elevated location in Golden Point.
This was perfect for us as we wanted to see Sovereign Hill. The proximity was perfect, about a 200 meter walk. The property was elevated with a large front deck from which we sat and watched the storm come over. It is clean and equipped with all the amenities. The only criticism I have is that the lounges in many of these B&Bs are too low for older people. I know it’s been a trend for a while but I don’t like it as I get older. The water pressure for the shower is weak because of the instant hot water service. I like mains pressure. Also the floors were terribly slippery when wet. I nearly went over at least three times. That all being said it is a well kept and comfortable place to stay.

Delightful property with beautiful views.
We had a lovely stay in this comfortable, well equipped house. Beautifully furnished with top class amenities. Check in, unfortunately, was not as expected as code system was not working and we could not contact the host who was overseas. We then got in contact with Stayz who offered to pay for one nights accommodation in a hotel. We waited for two hours and then decided to head back to Melbourne as hotel wasn’t an option for us. Fortunately we were contacted by the caretaker, so we ended up at the property. We were delighted to receive compensation of wine, money for dinner and late checkout, so all good and I’m sure code system has been upgraded.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculately clean, had absolutely everything that us or the children could possibly have needed for our stay (and more). The house was so comfortable, large bathrooms, great heating. We loved visiting, and would recommend to anyone coming to stay in Ballarat!

Wow… This little house is so cute and comfy, the owner has thought of absolutely to keep it cozy and inviting. I loved the style and even real little house plants placed tastefully in each room, I also loved the beautiful hand washes and cleaning products. I’ve since gone and sourced some for my home haha. We didn’t want to leave. Love your style and all the thought you have put into this retreat ✨

Exceeded expectations. In the top 10 properties I've stayed in. Property manager was great to communicate with. House was clean and had everything we needed. No complaints. Nada! Some will find the driveway too steep, but I'm an ex-farmer and part billy goat, so felt like home.

The property is comfortable, and well presented. It is within a few minutes drive of Ballarat shops and tourist locations. The steep driveway could be an issue for a group staying with more than one vehicle.

On arrival was presented with a lovely warm, spottlesly clean and beautifully presented home. Every thing you could need and more with beautiful open ended toys and bed time stories for children plus safety gate out on veranda. Ample off sreet parking and fantastic views across Sovereign Hill. Close to all attractions in Ballarat. Will recomend this property to family and friends as a fantastic place to stay and very family friendly.

Fantastic property for our family's weekend in Ballarat. The place was so clean, set up with everything you would need and in a great spot with many local attractions close by. Communication with the owner was great and things like leaving the heating on for us and suppling a Porta cot and nightlight in the kids room were really appreciated.

“A touch of luxe”! This property was amazing with everything you could possibly need in a house. Everything had a place and was so tidy. Extra effort made by the host to add little things to make your stay just that much better. Beautiful views over Ballarat. One of my children is autistic so when I made a request for the third bedroom to be made up for her so she could have her own space, they were more than accomodating. Communication with our host was amazing. Always very quick replies and I felt at ease to ask a million questions. I would recommend this property to anyone. There is a portacot available. The balcony at the front of the property has a retractable safety gate to keep the little ones in! Thanks for our deluxe stay. I just wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

Cosy and comfortable getaway
Had a wonderful short break away with a friend and our kids. The house has been very tastefully renovated and decorated. Everything you need is supplied. Most importantly it was clean and the lounge and all the beds are very comfortable. Perfect place to stay when visiting Sovereign Hill. Would happily recommend this property to anybody except the elderly as the driveway is very steep and the bathroom tiles are high gloss.

My husband and I just had a three night stay at Zee Zee House. I chose this property from the photos as it presented as modern spacious and clean. I was not disappointed as it lived up to expectations. Ella (our host) was amazing and was easy to contact. We loved staying at Golden Point during the school holidays. We couldn't believe how close we were to the entrance of Sovereign Hill and it was a treat to be able to see some of the Winter Lights Festival from our balcony! The property was clean and comfortable and I would highly recommend it if you want to explore Ballarat.
