Just a lovely place to stay. My only complaint was that the food menu was very limited, especially since I didn’t want a 6 course meal. Options were limited and cobbled together 2 appetizers as a meal. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience.

Cute boutique. Lobby smelled great. Jug of ice cold water flavored with lemon or cucumbers or strawberries, nice touch. Great decor. Staff friendly and receptive and helpful. The room although small had great windows, view of golf course. Terrace view of ocean. Shower very hot which was outstanding. . Thin walls could hear shower next door. Terrace close together could smell smoke from room next door. Would prefer no smoking Period.

"This was our first safari experienced in Africa and loved every minute. We loved the whole ethos of Sanbona .... they are creating a wildlife reserve that is a true representation of the semi-arid Little Karoo. There may not be as many animals here as on other large-scale reserves further east but ..."
