„Staff was very kind, “

„A great hotel in a great location. One pro tip that will vastly improve your stay in Varanasi: utilize their travel agency, Trip Choice Travel, run by Miss Varsha. Varsha is an amazing woman that goes far beyond just a travel guide. For example, if I tried to get a tuk tuk to go 2 km, it should cost at maximum 100 INR. When I tried to reserve one, it was impossible to get them to go below 200 INR. With Miss Varsha negotiating for you, you can get one for 50 INR or less. She helps you avoid the ...

„The room was on ground level and the window was too close to garbage to leave open.“

„Very nice and helpful staff, very clean room with hot shower“

„I went on a solo trip to Banaras and booked my stay at Gangotri. The hospitality truly surprised me. The owner and staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I was really impressed with the facilities. The room was clean and hygiene was well maintained, which made me feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Banaras — it’s totally worth it!“

„It was very clean for a three star Hotel, the shower and everything else worked and the staff was very kind. The rooms ar not very well insulated though, it was quite loud bc of people on the floor or other rooms close by“

„I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, offering everything you would expect from a good mid-range hotel. Whenever I needed anything extra, the staff was always helpful and happy to assist without any issues. There are a few minor details that some European guests might notice, but they are easy to overlook given the hotel’s perfect location. It’s ideally situated for exploring the markets and the surrounding area. A ...

„Hotel was very loud. They have construction works ongoing the whole day. No information beforehand. Staff was not well organised to arrange a punctual transfer to the airport. “
