„The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay.“

The garden is completely fenced in, so it's absolutely great for dogs. The pretty garden is across the street where you can sit when the weather is good.“

„We loved our stay at the Wee Silverburn! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Decorated so nicely, very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking wares and cleaning supplies. The babbling brook just beyond the lush garden plantings completed the lovely setting. The location is wonderful, an easy walk down the beach and other offerings at Whiting Bay. The bus stop is right there too if you want to pop to a pub or two in Lamlash for dinner and drinks. ...

„Very clean and well maintained property. Well furnished and equipped. Our only quibble was that the bathroom was actually en-suite with the main bedroom so with elderly people requiring a toilet during the night there was an element of intrusion. However, we were all family and coped. There is also a small step in that main bedroom that our more elderly family initially found problematic so anyone booking should be aware. „I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. „The property is lovely. The problem is the listing on Vrbo does not explain the pricing correctly and our full party details were not passed on . Resulting in us having pay extra money the day after we arrived . And the cottage is not worth that amount of money.“

„Beautiful secluded cottage in a quiet area, house was clean & tidy. Very spacious and we enjoyed our stay. Only negatives were the mattresses in the bedrooms were rock hard, owner needs to invest in a good mattress topper especially if staying more than 2 nights. No communication from the host beforehand & no bin bags or dish cloth to use on our first night. Otherwise all ok feedback! “
