Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Ich hatte ein sehr schönes und helles Zimmer mit Blick auf den Pool und das Meer. Zum Meer geht man ein wenig den Hang runter, der Strand ist auch sehr schön. Hoteleigene Liegestühle mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Frühstück auch sehr gut undvielfältig.

Gutes solides Hotel, nichts besonderes
War soweit alles ok. Nichts hat besonders hervorgestochen aber auch nichts negativ aufgefallen. Der Gym war sehr alt und spärlich ausgestattet. Frühstück war gut - frisches omelett etc. strand auch gut - ausse den Menschen die um 0700 morgens mit Handtuch alle Liegen besetzen.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr günstige Lage. Nur ein paar Meter bis zum Meer mit tollem Strand. Das Stadtzentrum ist zu Fuss in etwa zwanzig Minuten zu erreichen. Bushaltestelle eine Minute entfernt. Anfang November immer noch gute Bedingungen zum Baden. Morgens und abend wehte ein kühlerer Wind. Ein Pullover sollte im Gepäck sein. Viele Hotels und Restaurants waren saisonbedingt schon geschlossen. Dafür waren die Strände nicht überfüllt. Bessere Reisezeit wäre wohl der Oktober.

Schöne Zeit
Wir waren in den Herbstferien im Grecian Sands Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ok. Wir hatten Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick gebucht, was sich gelohnt hat. Frühstück und Abendessen waren gut. Super die WMF Kaffeemaschine mit Cappuccino. Das Abendbuffet hatte ich etwas größer erwartet. Die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen war aber gut. Der Großteil der Gäste war am Strand, nur wenige haben den Pool benutzt. Tolles Meer, noch angenehm warm für die Jahreszeit und ein toller Sandstrand direkt unterhalb des Hotels. Für unseren Mietwagen haben wir stets einen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel gefunden. Das Hotel war aber nicht voll belegt. Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ob ich beim nächsten Zypern Urlaub aber nochmal nach Ayia Napa gehen würde bezweifle ich. Da ist man leider relativ weit von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt.

Leider sind beim Buchungsvorgang neue Zimmer mit Fotos belegt, diese befinden sich aber offensichtlich nicht im Angebot. Die alten abgewohnten Zimmer kosten genauso viel und entsprechen nicht den Erwartungen. Ansonsten ist das Hotel recht ordentlich gelegen und für die hießigen Bedingungen auch empfehlenswert.

Hotel an toller Lage
Das Hotel punktet mit seiner top Lage direkt am Meer. Die Sauberkeit ist im ganzen Hotel sehr gut und auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben einen grossen Balkon. Das Mobiliar könnte mal ersetzt werden. Das Personal ist von Freundlich bis unfreundlich und das Receptionsteam lässt einem eher denken, dass man froh sein kann in diesem Hotel wohnen zu dürfen. So sauber wie das Hotel ist, sollte man annehmen, dass auch die Strandtische und Liegen einmal täglich gereinigt und geordnet hin gestellt werden. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das nicht so ist. Für eine 4 Sterne Hotel fanden wir das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz stimmig.

Vier Sterne sind es wohl nicht ganz!
Die Rezeption des Hotels ist 24 Stunden besetzt und ein frühes/spätes Ein- und Auschecken problemlos möglich. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist bei direkten Anliegen zugewandt, bemüht und freundlich. Sonst wirken die Mitarbeiter sehr beschäftigt und ein Gruß beim vorbei gehen ist kaum möglich. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und relativ gut ausgestattet, das Bad hingegen sehr klein. Die Terrasse war in Vergleich sehr groß mit einer dürftigen Ausstattung in Form von zwei kleinen unbequemen Plastikstühlen und einem -Tisch. Das Frühstück war wenig abwechslungsreich, zur Auswahl standen bspw. täglich die gleichen drei Wurst- und Käsesorten. Das Servicepersonal während der Frühstückszeit wirkte wenig motiviert und engagiert. Der Pool ist sehr groß, sauber und auch für kleinere Kinder gut geeignet. Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme sind im Poolbereich ausreichend vorhanden, der hoteleigene Strandbereich war dagegen sehr klein und dicht gedrängt. Soweit beurteilbar ist die Küche tagsüber verbesserungswürdig. Es bestand die Möglichkeit, sich Fahrräder vom Hotel zu mieten, welche nicht verkehrssicher waren.

erholsamer Partyurlaub
Ich war mit zwei Kolleginnen in einem Doppelzimmer mit einem zusätzlichem Bett. Daher war es ein bisschen eng. Hatten jedoch einen Balkon (mit Meerblick) und kamen gut aneinander vorbei. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und recht gross. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit und konnte Deutsch und Englisch. Das Morgenessen (Buffet) war angemessen gross und das Essen war immer frisch. Es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas. Der Pool war immer sauber und die Anlage rundherum schön gestaltet.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Hotel sits right above the beach but also has a huge swimming pool (and smaller indoor) with lots of lounges. The staff were extremely nice and good at their jobs. Loved the dining choices, especially the Roof Burger Bar rooftop restaurant with great food and sunset views.

We liked a very unique location - very close to the beach and nice layout with white sand and caves nearby. Beautiful view from the window, blue pristine water and nice atmosphere. Hotel serves very nice breakfast full of fresh variety fruits and vegetables. Stuff and management are extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Very nice place for family and couples vacation.
