Ein Hotel/Motel wie es sein soll. Sauberes, modernes, grosses Zimmer zu einem günstigen Preis. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück kostet separat ist aber sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotel mit kleinem Pool , reichhaltiges Frühstück sangebot zum Extra Preis gute Erreichbarkeit der City mit der Bahn.

Schönes Hotel für eine Nacht
Wir haben im Hotel eine Nacht verbracht, als Zwischenübernachtung nach unserem Flug und vor unserer Kreuzfahrt. Das Hotel liegt günstig, es sind einige Restaurants in direkter Umgebung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber. Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen jedoch eher weniger der Realität oder sie wurden sehr geschönt fotografiert. Zimmer/Apartements sind eher klein. Ideal für eine Nacht, für länger ist es dann doch zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt.

Gute Lage
Gewohnter Best Western-Standard, großes, sauberes Zimmer. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Cromwell Park und Mount Eden zu erlaufen. Downtown (über Parnell) im Prinzip auch, aber bedenke, Auckland ist auf Vulkanen erbaut, es geht hoch und runter all the Time. ;-)

Schlechte Erfahrung
Leider recht heruntergekommen, Zimmer und Einrichtung schäbig, schlecht geputzt. Triste Umgebung. Aus der Ecke unter einem der Betten kam ein derartiger Gestank, dass man dort nicht schlafen konnte. Wenigstens freundlicher Check-Out mit offenbar echtem Bedauern wegen der Geruchsbelästigung...

We were upgraded to a room in the new building. The room was clean & modern but it was quite small. The staff were friendly. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from.

This is a great place to stay, warm, comfortable beds, great water pressure for a nice shower. I didn’t have my own transportation, so was further away from shops. Would book a Car next time I stay. Definitely be back! Thank you

Nice simple hotel. Simple fixes have been overlooked. Other than that. Friendly staff and quite a few take away or dine in option 5 min walk. Countdown shop 5 min drive.

We got an older room but well maintained. Room were serviced daily which was nice. There is a paid coin laundry on site. There is no elevator. Free lot Parking is limited and narrow especially if you have an SUV. They don’t recommend street parking bc of towing. They store your luggage for early arrival. Leave key cards in the room for check out. About tem minute drive to CBD.

it was great to walk to ripe cafe for coffee, and beaut Thai Restuarant for dinner. would have been good to have couple relaxing chairs. bedroom very small, shower great. enjoyable stay

Dear GaryThank you for your review.We are sorry to hear that you didn't like that you had to pay a bond but please be aware that every establishment requires ID and credit card nowadays. If you don't have a credit card a bond is required at check in.When you first make a booking, it will ask you to please refer to payment policy for charges. If you click on this, it will clearly outline the extra fees/charges and it clearly states there as well that if you wish to enquire to contact the motel directly. Good value for money
I wasn't expecting much more than a comfortable bed, so in that context I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rate was good and that's why I booked it as I literally just needed a place for our party of 6 to sleep for the night and it served that purpose well. It was close enough to where we needed to be that evening that Uber fares were really reasonable, it was clean and tidy too. The bed was indeed comfortable but the noise from people coming and going at all hours of the night meant a fairly broken sleep (ironically once the sun came up the noise stopped, and the blackout curtains meant I got a sleep in). It's perfectly fine for a place to just sleep, but I wouldn't return for a romantic weekend or anything!
