Big rooms. Big bathroom. Awesome bed. Great size tv. Nice cold air con. Happy to see bottled water in the fridge. Wifi didnt work in the room i was in. ( didnt bother me ) shower was a bit mouldy on the tiles.

We probably chose the worst time to explore Atherton as post-cyclone weather conditions did not allow us to really do anything - when it became apparent that the rain would not be letting up at all, the manager allowed us to cancel the remaining days of our stay so we could escape South to drier climes. Room was spotlessly clean, had a large balcony and the lounge downstairs was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were quite comfortable.

Modern affordable accommodation, secure access to the rooms but can be noisy at certain times due to being above a pub. Overall a enjoyable stay.

Great overnight stay in comfortable and spacious room. Staff were friendly and helpful and keen to please. Dining facility offered good and reasonably priced meals.

Still favourite
My favourite hotel when we go down that way. Everything perfect but disappointed that there was only one chair. We had a scrumptious meal from the dining room which we were allowed to take back but one of us had to sit on the bed to eat it. Just a tiny detail. That’s all. Still my favourite pub.

The place was spacious, the staff friendly and helpful and the meals were great. They even supplied a free breakfast pack as they couldn't serve meals in the morning. Rooms clean and mini fridge and microwave and kettle. Highly recommend the place.

A good spot to stay overnight, close to everything. I was disappointed in the cleanliness however, hair in the bath tub/shower really put me off. However bedding comfortable and it did the job.

Disappointing
We were disappointed with our room which had no window. The shower too was awkward to get into. Parking was free, but not secure. The staff were pleasant, particularly the girl who we first met. The best thing about the hotel was its position. The food downstairs was uninspiring and the dining room lacked atmosphere. We won’t stay there again.

Great if you need to get up early.
Everything was good except we needed to sleep in after a very late night....and the skylight meant the sun woke us at 6:30am! If you need an early start, this is a good thing....but we needed a late start.

The property is located in the heart of Atherton with easy access to shops and restaurants. Aside from the bedding, the room was filthy. The toilet looked like it had never been cleaned and had faecal ‘spatter’ on the seat. I went to IGA and bought disinfectant wipes to clean it before using... Every surface was dirty — muffin crumbs on the kitchen counter and coffee table, an old contact lens and some other rubbish on the bedside tables. The fridge and cupboard interiors were dirty. Don’t even get me started on the sofa. It’s a bit scary to stay in such an unsanitary space in the covid era.

Nice, comfortable stay
Room was surprisingly spacious. It was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean and functional. Ample powerpoints for charging/using electronic devices. Food was good. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be staying again!
