Das Urban Nest ist ein äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartement-Hotel in super Lage mitten im Zentrum. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und es hat viel Stauraum. Es hat genügend Restaurants quasi direkt vor der Tür. Die Metro ist auch nicht weit weg, aber man kann eigentlich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichen. Jederzeit wieder!

Einfach ein tolles Hotel im Zentrum von Athen mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und tollen Lokalen in der Nähe! Vor allem die Rezeptionsdamen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen und Infos! Würden beim nächsten Athen-Urlaub sicher wieder dieses Hotel buchen :-)

Tolle Lage
Wir waren eine Woche in Athen. Die Zimmer sind voll ausgestattet und sauber. Die Lage ist zentral im Barviertel von Athen. Das einzige Problem allgemein ist das Parking. Etwa 5 Minuten vom Hotel gibt es das einzige 24h Stunden Parking in der ganzen Umgebung. Ansonsten bleiben einem nur Hinterhofparkplätze von Privatpersonen die unregelmässige Öffnungszeiten haben. Der Tipp kam von der Rezeption, was wir natürlich am ersten Tag super fanden. Die Zimmer sind ausserdem sehr gross und geräumig. Man hat viele internationale Sender. Ausserdem ist das Frühstück toll. Es sieht auf den ersten Blick etwas mager aus, jedoch kann man sich jederzeit frisch zubereitete Omelettes oder Rühreier bestellen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Hotelfachpersonal. Sie sind immer hilfsbereit, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend.

Die Einrichtung war neu und sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Eine Küche mit Mikrowelle, Backofen, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank mit Eisfach befand sich im Wohnzimmer mit Essecke. Morgens wurde ein Frühstück, das man anhand eines Bestellzettels zusammenstellte, aufs Zimmer geliefert. Den Kaffee oder Tee konnte man sich selbst zubereiten. Wir hatten eine kleine Terrasse und haben jeden Morgen draußen gefrühstückt. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer kleinen Seitenstraße mit vielen Cafés, Restaurants und Bars, die bis in die Nacht geöffnet haben. Den Geräuschpegel empfanden wir nicht als störend. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sowohl vor der Anreise als auch während unseres Aufenthaltes. So wurden wir noch zuhause über einen bevorstehenden 24 h Streik und die dadurch ausfallenden Verkehrsmittel informiert und uns kurzfristig ein Transfer vom Flughafen organisiert. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von da aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Besonders bedanken möchte ich mich noch bei Veronika, die mich bei der Vorbereitung der Reise gut beraten hat.

Neuwertige Ausstattung (zum Teil hängt noch das Kreppband von den Malerarbeiten an der Decke) gute Größe (wir hatten das Studio), sehr zentral gelegen in der Nähe zur Metro-Haltestelle Monastiraki. Allerdings direkt in einer Straße mit zahlreichen Bars. Wir waren Mittwoch bis Samstag da, die ersten beiden Nächte ging es noch, es wurde gegen 12:00 Uhr nachts etwas ruhiger, die letzte Nacht konnten wir kaum ein Auge zu machen, die ganze Nacht Party mit sehr lauter Musik, leider sehr schlechte Schallisolierung in dem Hotel... Also eher was für Leute, die selbst die Nacht durchmachen wollen... Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht, zuvor kann man ankreuzen, was man gerne hätte. Wir haben einfach mal alles angekreuzt, das war auch gut so, denn das Frühstück ist sehr knapp von der Menge bemessen, zudem fast nur abgepackte Sachen (Marmelade, Honig, Butter, abgepackter Kuchen), war trotzdem ok. Am letzten Tag mussten wir sehr früh los, um unsere Fähre zu bekommen, wir hatten um ein kleines Frühstückspaket zum mitnehmen am Vortag gebeten, es hieß sie würden was zusammen stellen (was bei abgepackten Sachen kein Problem sein dürfte...), der Nachtwächter wusste aber nichts davon also gab es kein Frühstück zum Mitnehmen. ansonsten aber nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Insgesamt durchwachsen, da wir zum Sightseeing in Athen waren und nachts schlafen wollten, konnten unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt werden.

Tolle zentrale Lage. Modernes Hotel.
Das Restaurant war noch nicht geöffnet, deshalb wurde das Frühstück im Zimmer als Lunch-Paket serviert und entspricht leider keinem Standart eines 4 Sterne-Hotels. Das Hotel ist neu, sehr modern und sehr zentral in Athen gelegen. Allen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu nahegelegen. Leider wurde unsere Zimmer in drei Tage nicht gereinigt. Trotzdem würde ich jederzeit wiederkommen und das Hotel immer weiterempfehlen.

Stayed in an Executive Apartment for 6 nights, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and well serviced. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful, as was the taxi driver who met us and returned us to the airport. The additional cost over and above street taxis is worthwhile. We had breakfast each day which again was served by very pleasant staff and there are 4 set choices, English, Greek, French and American, which have to be pre-chosen the day before. Given a choice, we would not have selected every component of these set breakfasts and would have preferred to simply decide what we actually wanted to eat. However the quality of the food served was acceptable, if not outstanding. Urban Nest is located in an interesting part of Athens and the surrounding narrow streets are full of bars and restaurants, with many places currently in the process of being redeveloped. So there is a good choice of restaurants and we particularly enjoyed Bandero. However as our room looked out on to the street in front of the hotel, where late night parties take place most nights, it was not the restful place we would have preferred after spending days enjoying the many wonderful sights of Athens. Unless you can sleep like the dead, I would therefore any visitors to Urban Nest to choose a room which does not have a street outlook.

We (3 adults) stayed at Urban Nest in April, 2024. Overall, we were very satisfied with the location, level of service and room amenities, and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a visit to Athens. More details: Location - Situated very close to the Monastiraki metro station and the adjoining shopping area. Metro runs directly from the airport to this station. Hotel also arranges airport transfer. Within walking distance of popular attractions and many restaurants, and Uber was also available readily. The hotel is situated in a by-lane with restaurants and bars, and there's some noise in the evening. But not loud enough to be disturbing. We'd give 9/10 for location. Room amenities: Executive suite had a comfortable queen bed and a squishy double sofa bed. There was a microwave, a small fridge, 2-burner cooktop, cutlery and utensils. The bathroom was adequate. Service: A good set-menu breakfast was provided. The hotel staff were very helpful and reliable. They arranged transfer to airport on the day of a general strike. Most appreciated. Overall, two thumbs up.

We are so happy with choosing this hotel. Best location! The Acropolis loft was great. Good service, nice staff. 4 min walk from metro station. Short Walk distance to the market, to shopping. The hotel is in the heart of restaurants and cafe's area.

Excellent location, easy to get to many of the main monuments and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Only thing to bear in mind is it can be noisy as it is next to a courtyard with many shops, but not overwhelmingly so. We found the staff all extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room is exactly as shown, if not more spacious. We would absolutely return in the future.

제일 만족스러운 점은 모든 유적지를 걸어서 다닐 정도로 위치가 너무 좋다는 점. 방은 깨끗하고 룸컨디션도 좋음. 욕실에 수건이 충분히 있어서 좋았음. 전자렌지, 오븐, 식기류, 냄비, 스푼, 포크 등이 구비되어 있어서 근처 bazzar에서 식재료를 사서 간단하게 음식을 만들어 먹어도 좋음. 아침 조식은 그리스식, 영국식, 미국식, kid 선택할 수 있었음. 직원들은 매우 친절하여 전혀 불편함이 없었음. 매우 만족스러워서 가족들 모두 편하게 지낼 수 있었음.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the life suite room 6A. The réceptionist was so helpful in helping us with finding parking for our car. All staff were super friendly and very helpful. The loft room was breathtaking! You have such an amazing view of the Acropolis and Parthenon that we couldn't stop looking at it. At night, from your super large balcony you can see it in all it glory! The bed was so comfy! Tons of restaurants and bars and coffee shops near by. Could not have asked for a better location. Breakfast was included each day and you can select from a couple of options the night before wity a time you'd like to eat at. Try the Greek breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Get out and explore. Don't even hesitate to book here. I will be back and the urban suites will be my choice.

During our 18 days trip to Greece and Turkey from US, we had 6 nights of stay in Urban Nest and the experience was very home like and marvelous! The suites are recently upgraded and remodeled. They’re beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and helped us to plan our transportations from and to airports and ferries, and provided detailed information to every questions. While we were in Athens, we didn’t need much transportation though because this location was walkable to every sight that we wanted to visit (including Acropolis, the new museum, Monastiraki Square (the center of shoppings, cuisine, rooftops), Psiri Squeare (the center of bars, cafes, and restaurants), etc. Also, you get very easy access to bus stops and metro with a 4 minute walk. The management do an exceptional job of communications as they were available to answer all my questions via email from the time I made the reservation (and I asked a lot of questions). Oh, and the breakfasts are delicious and satisfying! Based on my experience, I very much recommend staying at Urban Nest Suites & Apartments while visiting Athens.

Love the Urban Nest! We had the executive suite and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. If facing the street you can hear some noise but not enough to prevent a good nights sleep. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The area was fantastic, so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Athens.

Fabulous boutique aparthotel
I love Urban nest. Great aparthotel in Psiri Athens. I stayed there last year and had no hesitation booking again. The breakfasts are great and recommend one of the rooms with views to the Acropolis. S aff very friendly and arrange transfers without fuss.
