Gutes, gut gelegenes Hotel
Das Crowne Plaza ermöglicht einen sehr bequemen Aufenthalt in Athen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, grosszügig, gut eingerichtet und falls auf die Seite oder nach hinten gelegen auch ruhig. Die nächste U Bahn Station ist nur gut 5 Minuten entfernt. Es hat kleine Supermärkte und Take Aways in der Gegend. In die Innenstadt, zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten oder den Ausgangsquartieren sind es nur zwei bis vier U Bahn Stopps. Das Preis Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Daher buche ich fast immer des Crowne Plaza wenn ich in Athen bin.

ordentliches Hotel
das Hotel liegt günstig an einer Metrostation, deswegen kann man auf die (betrügerischen) Taxifahrer gut verzichten. Der Pool auf der Dachterrasse ist klein. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war ruhig und ausreichend komfortabel.

Great value for money
Very modern, spacious room and quick check-in. Staff was very attentive and friendly, great value for money. Hotel is located downtown, but none of the sights is in walkable distance. However close to the hotel there is a metro station offering cheap rides with a daypass for just 4 Euros.

Sehr gutes Hotel
Das Hotel liegt ca. 250 m von der nächsten U-Bahn Station entfernt und so sind alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu erreichen. (Taxis sind in Athen auch erschwinglich). Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut eingerichtet und sauber, der Service ist freundlich und der kleine Pool auf dem Dach bietet nach dem Sightseeing in Athen eine angenehme Erfrischung - also alles so wie´s sein soll. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: die Verpflegung im Hotel selbst ist schon sehr teuer.

Es gibt von uns keine Klagen, wir waren allerdings nur eine Nacht ohne Frühstück da. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr gut (2 bequeme Doppelbetten für uns und die Kinder). Metrostation 5 min. entfernt, 2 Stationen vom Zentrum entfernt- also günstige Lage, auch mit dem Auto gut zu finden.

Sehr gutes Hotel in guter Lage
Das Crowne Plaza Athens liegt mitten in der Stadt, jedoch nicht ganz im touristischen Zentrum, das aber über ca. 10 min Fußweg erreichbar ist. Es liegt dafür aber nur wenige Minuten Fußweg vom Kongresszentrum Megaron entfernt. Das Hotel ist top-saniert und in ausgezeichnetem Zustand, die Zimmer sind excellent, ein kleiner Mini-Pool mit Liegestühlen und Bar auf dem Dach ist sehr angenehm. Einziges Manko ist das Personal/der Service mit kleinen Defiziten für ein 5* Hotel: Hier ist der Gast nit 100% König: So wurden wir mit halbvollem Glas um 0:30 h aus der Dachbar "herausgeschmissen" und einfach das Licht ausgeschaltet. Hier sollte so ein Hotel kulanter sein!

Staff were really good, they were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was also good 😊 The hotel itself is a little dated and requires some general updating / refresh. Our biggest issue was the smell in the room which may have been from the toilet. One night it was so intense that we could not sleep. We informed the hotel about this and a person was sent to sanitise the toilet. This helped for a little while but the oder returned ☹️

Excellent & Highly Recommended
The hotel is just great! We felt spoiled and loved the amenities. Everyone was nice and the breakfast buffet was expansive and tasty. We truly were thankful for the plant-based beauty products since we are vegan. The room was comfy and the only improvement would be allowing us to access Netflix through the TV.

It's an average hotel. In 2-4 years, it would require improvements. I received a camera that I was not satisfied with. I gave up on other hotels to test it, but I don't think I will choose this option again. All in all, it's not bad, but they didn't hit me with the camera at all.
