I was met by the owners outside it, which i liked, as it gave my arrival a nice personal touch. They were very friendly, and made me feel at home from the start. After this, I wasnt bothered again, but they made sure to let me know that they could be called upon, if necessary.

„Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. “

Wish I’d gone directly to them and not given Hotels.com the credit of this review. The Premises was exceptional with all mod cons, very clean everything you need to do whilst working away . "This was the worst IBIS hotel in which I have ever stayed. The TV in the room did not work a the cover of the rickety window blin fell on my head as I tried to raw the blind down. The bedsheets were not clean and overall the hotel is shoddy. Just the night before I had stayed in an IBIS in Berlin and the two are not even on the same planet. And the room rate for the one in Manchester was higher, this needs to improve, I cannot recommend this hotel."
"Das Oddfellow Arms war eine Unterkunft mit guter Lage nahe des Heaton Parks. Diesen hat man durch eine Busfahrt von ca. 20 min erreicht.Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt Manchester. Durch eine gute Bus- und Bahnanbindung könnte man die Innenstadt aber gut erreichen.
Die Unterkunft hat kontinentales Frühstück angeboten, welches aus Rührei, Toastbrot, Obst und Müsli bestand. Die Zimmer waren mit Doppelstockbetten ausgestattet. Die Betten waren Recht bequem. Mein größter Kritikpunkt an den Zimmern war ihre Unsauberkeit. Unter den Betten lagen einige verschiedene Dinge, wie leere Flaschen oder alte Pizzaschachteln rum. Auch größere Taschen waren vereinzelt unter dem Bett zu finden, die vermutlich den Besitzer gehörten.
Alles in allem war die Unterkunft für den angebotenen Preis in Ordnung. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich mir vermutlich trotzdem etwas suchen, was sich mehr in Stadtnähe befindet."
