„We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.“

"Obwohl direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Landstrasse gelegen war unser Zimmer absolut ruhig. Der Raum und das Bad sind modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Pub und Restaurant im Erdgeschoß sind gemütlich und freundlich ausgestattet. Der Biergarten hinter dem Haus ist sehr gemütlich mit schöner Aussicht auf Wiesen und Schafweiden. Abendessen war sehr gut. Frühstück gab's als Picknick-Korb morgens vor der Tür, war auch lecker und OK. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit."
