„We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful.“

„Great modern open-plan architecture. The kitchen, the living room and the dining room were essentially one big room with beautiful interior that reminded us of a boutique hotel. Everything was spotless and squeaky clean including the modern bathrooms. washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all included and are also well maintained and of the latest model. „The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. “

The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!“

„The house is really nice and offers plenty of space for a bigger group of people as it has a big living room with cosy fireplace, a really big and well equipped kitchen, a big table where you can gather to eat. Also really nice sleeping rooms with enough showers/toilets. Nach Dunoon sind es nur 10 Minuten und auch in den Argyll-Forest und zu vielen darin angesiedelten Wanderungen ist es nicht weit, bzw sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus entsprach leider nicht dem Standard welchen wir von den Bildern vermutet hatten. Alles war handwerklich eher im schwierigen Zustand. „Came here with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in accommodated us arriving early.There was everything and more on offer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. There was supply of tea, coffee and milk amongst other items. Also supplied was a great deal of information on the local area, details on eateries including cafes and pubs and menus for local takeaways. The cottage is in a perfect for one to two people want to explore the Scottish countryside and is also close to Stirling and other smaller towns ...

„We spent a lovely weekend at Hollybank & can’t fault it at all. Enough space to either spend time in small groups or be together as a group of 8. Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.“
