Tolles Häuschen
Man hat ein eigenes Minihäuschen. Wir hatten durch das Fenster einen tollen Blick auf den See und die Polarlichter. Die Pizzeria auf der anderen Straßenseite war sehr lecker. Toller Aufenthalt.

Toller Blick auf das Meer
Tolle Unterkunft, traumhafter Blick auf das Meer. In der Nähe gibt es einige Kioske und 2 Restaurants und das Hotelrestaurant. Auch eine Tanksäule ist vor Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen, weil es wirklich sehr ruhig ist.

Kleine Cabin mit Blick auf den Parkplatz Schade! Hinten wäre eine schöne Gegend. In den Cabins auch kein Wifi. Dafür sehr charmante Bedienung im Restaurant (zugleich auch Rezeption). Wir hatten eine leckere Pizza und ein leckeres Frühstück.

Die Cottages are so romantic and beautiful abd clean. The Stuff is very friendly. The food is very expensive but tastes delicious.

Nettes Cottage
Schon neues und modernes Cottage. Einziges manko ist dass kein Fernseher im Cottage ist. Ebenso ist es nicht so einfach Abends etwas zu essen zu finden. Trotzdem extrem ruhig und freundliches Personal.

Wonderful place in a wonderful landscape
The cottage was wonderfully designed and pre-heated before our arrival, which was very nice after a long day out in Iceland. The wooden interieur is beautiful and is not lacking anything. The breakfast was nice as well and prepared us for our exciting travel around Snaefellsnes!

Wunderbar gelegen aber schlechte Preis-/Leistung
Die Cottages sind wunderbar, allerdings ist die anlage erst im Aufbau. Grosse Minuspunkte: - Dreckig um die Cottages (noch nicht bepflanzt) - Weder Abfallsack noch Aschenbecher auf der ganzen Anlage - Heizung war nicht eingeschaltet - Wasserkocher aber keine Tee's oder Kaffee zur Verfügung - Dusche hatte keinen Druck - Kein Föhn Pluspunkte: - Schön gebaut und schön gelegen - Freies parkiere Die gegebene Anzhl Sterne stimmt zwar, dafür ist jedoch der Preis deutlich zu hoch. Man bedenke es ist Island, die Ankunft war um 16 Uhr, die Kleider feucht und es gab nichts zu tun. Da wäre ein warmes Cottage, Druck auf der Dusche, ein Haarföhn und ein warmer Tee gelegen gekommen. Ich würde dem Cottage wieder eine Chance geben. Der Island-Tourismus ist im Aufbau und von Kritik kann gelernt werden.

We loved our cottage! It was so comfortable and clean and had just the amenities we needed, black out drapes, a nice shower, hot pot and refrigerator. Coffee and tea too! We walked a few feet over to the pizza restaurant which was fantastic and had pizza and some fish and chips( delicious) almond with a cold Icelandic beer. The arctic turns were nesting and quite aggressively defending there territory which made it charming. Wear a hat and wave your arms to ward them off if you come this time of year. They were harmless and it was fun to see.

Goed verblijf. Prijs wat aan de hoge kant.
Leuke cottage. Prima bed en fijne badkamer met douche. Keukenvoorzieningen zijn beperkt. Er is een kleine microgolfoven, maar jammer dat er niets van borden of bestek is. De prijs ligt voor IJslandse normen redelijk hoog, dus war borden of bestek moet toch kunnen.

Very spacious cottages with a large bathroom and fridge, microwave and kettle. We would have, however, appreciated a couple of plates and cutlery to go with the microwave. WiFi is very intermittent in the cottages. Breakfast is good but very expensive (even for Icelandic standards). Stappin Cafe & Restaurant across from the main restaurant has some lovely food in the evening, can recommend. If you go in the summer, be prepared to run the gauntlet with the birds who are defending their young. This is pretty much all over Iceland, not just unique to this part.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely place to stay. A bit remote, in terms of there being no grocery stores or any other amenities close by other than those associated with Arnarstapi Hotel - but the restaurant was excellent. Be prepared to plan ahead for any other needs. Highly recommend the Cottages.

Beautiful off the grid property. The area it’s situated in is breath taking. We enjoyed a stunning costal walk before settling in for a well earned sleep. I hate to be this person, but we did miss the tv. Would be nice to have the choice.

Nice set up with multiple cottages on one side of the road (further from the water) and the hotel on the other side (closer to the water). If view is important to you, then the hotel might have better access to water view as some of the cottages probably look at the buildings of the hotel. Luckily my cottage was at the end so I had a good view of water from my window. Check in is at the Arnarstapi Center (where the restaurant is) and that’s also where you park your car. It’s a short 1-2 min walk to your cottage. But you can drive up to your cottage to unload luggage before parking your car. The inside is basic but lights were functional. Kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. Would be nice if they provided basic utensils and plates. I had no problems with wifi as some others have had. It is true there is limited hot water (~5 min) but my partner and I just showered 1 hour apart at the end of the night. Both had hot water and with the expectation it would be short lived. It’s nearby to the trail by the waterfront including the stone bridge which was pretty. I would stay here again if I drove into the peninsula.

A éviter en cas de forte pluie
Surtout évitez le cottage 8 car les alentours ne sont pas drainés et pas de chemin d'accès à ce cottage... donc vous êtes les pieds dans l'eau pour y accéder en cas de forte pluie. Nous l'avons signalé à l'un des managers qui ne nous a proposé aucune solution : relogement, planche pour accéder , bottes à prêter.... l'eau chaude de la douche fait parfois défaut et le cottage est trop loin de la borne wifi... nous avons écourté notre sejour quitte à perdre une nuit... évitez aussi le restaurant de l'hôtel, leur confrère de l'autre côté de la rue propose une cuisine plus authentique et meilleure et le personnel est plus sympathique...

Arnarstapi is a small and remote place that doesn't have a perfect internet coverage and the water in the boilers does not come for geothermal sources, but our guests praise it on its beautiful nature which we hope you enjoyed. Checking time 16.00 not very good. We got there for 13.00 and we have to wait 3 hrs. And there is nothing to do in the area. Check in is done by code sent to you. There is no personal contact other than poor guy in the restaurant trying do everything. Next morning we cheched out 10.00 am . We were still in the car park and they cleaned the room. You pay lot of money and breakfast not included. We were disappointed

Our check in system is with key codes, but we are available 24/7 via message or phone call. There is staff on site, at the hotel, but at rush hour they might be helping some other guests.
