Just a few kilometres away, Lake Saint-Ferréol invites you to enjoy a refreshing swim, only a short distance from the Pierre-Paul Riquet Museum. The charming bastide towns of Revel and Sorèze, with their distinctive South-West French character, are within easy reach, while the lively historic town of Puylaurens offers a swimming pool, fishing, sports facilities and local shops. Further west, Toulouse makes an ideal destination for a day of sightseeing. This holiday cottage occupies part of a former château, a unique setting that is sure to impress from the moment you arrive. The thick stone walls naturally keep the interior cool during the hottest summer days, while the centuries-old trees surrounding the property create a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Completely independent and located on the ground floor of the château (the owners live upstairs and have their own separate outdoor space with complete privacy), this single-storey cottage comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The heart of the home is the château's former kitchen, now a spacious living area featuring a beautiful fireplace, perfect for sharing meals throughout the year. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and filter coffee maker. Two connecting bedrooms complete the sleeping area: - Bedroom 1: two 90x200 cm single beds. - Bedroom 2: one 180x200 cm double bed. The slightly retro-style bathroom blends perfectly with the authentic character of the château. A washing machine is also available. WC. Outside, the cottage opens onto a large private garden shaded by magnificent centuries-old trees, providing welcome coolness and tranquillity throughout the summer. The shaded terrace is the perfect place to enjoy long meals outdoors or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Spending a few nights in a château is an experience that turns an ordinary holiday into something truly special.
