It was a memorable holiday. Very large selection of delicious food and an impressive buffet. It was a sweet tooth heaven. The hotel offered several fun activities and also great shows. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Yagmur our yoga instructor and Victoria for Aqua gym were really great. Fatima our concierge was helpful and I think his name was Hama at Hürrem restaurant, gave us a memorable last night. We participated in lots of fun sports activities, which got us back in better shape.
It is a family place, so kids have lots of fun things to do. The only criticism is that the beds are too soft. Some may like that, but larger people can get back problems. The staff brought in a harder top mattress, which helped. On the environmental side, the staff cleared cups and glasses too fast from the table. These can be used again for refills. We had to tell staff daily we will reuse the cup for another coffee.
It was also embarrassing to see several guests, no criticism to the hotel, how much food they left behind. Their act of gluttony could be staved if the hotel put up a friendly sign with the text; Eat all you want but take only what you can finish eating. There are also too many small disposable plastic cups of water. If gust received a steel water bottle with Swandor Topkapi Palace engraved with their name onto it, it could be used for refills, yet serve as a great memorabilia and a international marketing tool, because guests would also use it at home.
