Tolle Lage, enges Hostel
Die Lage des Hostels ist sehr zentral. Das Zentrum ist von hier aus super erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein mit schmalen Stockbetten und im obersten Stock des Nebengebäudes untergebracht. Dort gab es keinen Aufzug und nur eine sehr schmale Treppe mit Teppichbelag. Es wurde allerdings Hilfe zum Tragen des Gepäcks angeboten. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, wodurch man wirklich alles von den Nachbarzimmern mitbekommt. Bei leichtem Schlaf nicht empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück war ausreichend mit einer kleinen Auswahl aus süßen und herzhaften Speisen sowie Heißgetränken und Säften. Für diese Leistung sind die Zimmer nicht gerade günstig, der Preis rechtfertigt sich wohl durch die Lage des Hostels.

Der Check Inn war einfach unkompliziert jedoch das Zimmer selbst war nicht grad sauber TV funktionierte gar nicht. Parkplätze gibt es gar keine mussten 2km weit weg Parken. Frühstücks Büffet gab es jedoch sehr wenig Auswahl. Die Gegend selbst vom Hotel war nicht die beste mussten in irgendein Hinterhaus dort gab es dann die Zimmern mit Gemeinschaftsduschen und WC‘s Zustand auch sehr schlecht und nicht die saubersten.

Wir,Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern,hatten 2 Zimmer (1. 3. Stock)Fenster zur Spuitstrasse im Haupthaus. Zimmer ok,Betten sehr gut, aber in beiden Zimmern hörte man bei geschlossenen Fenstern wirklich jedes Wort draussen auf der Straße,als wenn die Fenster dauerhaft gekippt gewesen wären. Wir wussten,dass das Hotel in Bahnhofs-und Rotlichtviertelnähe liegt, deshalb kann man sich die Frequentierung auf der Strasse nachts vorstellen. Gegröle, Party, bis zum Übergeben,alles dabei. Wir waren von Donnerstag bis Sonntag,wo sich die Nächte gesteigert haben. Das Hotel wird gerade umgebaut,sie bitten dafür um Verständnis und wir wurden vorab darüber informiert.Umbau war kein Problem,da wir tagsüber weg waren. Gewisser Dreck muss da akzeptiert werden,aber Schimmel in den Fugen in der Dusche und massiv an der Duschkabinentür auch aussen,hat mit Umbau nichts zu tun. Das Personal ist freundlich,es liegen Ohrstöpsel an der Rezeption aus,aber mit Begründung Baustelle, nicht Lärm. Wir haben beim Auschecken gesagt,dass die Fenster absolut undicht sind, aber diese Aussage rief Verwunderung und Unverständnis hervor. Das Frühstück ist gut und es sind 2 Damen da,die immer alles sofort nachfüllen.Leider gab es nur reine Butter und einen Schmelzkäseaufstrich als Aufstrich und nur Orangenscheiben als einziges Obst(auch auf Nachfrage nach Alternative). Fazit: Hotel mit über 4,00 leider überbewertet, ausser nur die Lage zählt, Fenster, merkwürdig, waren nie erwähnt. Ansonsten toller Städtetrip

Kleines sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Preis Leistung passt und Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gut und für jeden was dabei. Zimmer okay und man ist sehr bemüht. Obwohl viele deutsche dort sind keine deutsche Verständigung, aber mit englisch geht es.

Sehr gutes Budget Hotel im Zentrum von Amsterdam. Die Zimmer sind einfach, eher klein und mit guten Betten ausgestattet. Wifi schnell. Die Aussicht aus dem vierten Stock über die Dächer ist schön. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuss sehr nah. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig.

Sehr positiv überrascht bis auf die Fenster
Das Hostel ist sehr zu empfehlen, lediglich die Fenster (zumindest in meinem Schlafsaal), die sich in der Nacht nicht öffnen lassen und das Schlafen und Atmen mit 5 weiteren Personen im Saal und zunehmend knapp werdenden Sauerstoff erschwerten ist ein großer Minuspunkt. Ansonsten war alles perfekt, sehr netter Kundenservice, super Frühstück, Handtuch wird zur Verfügung gestellt und alles war sehr sauber.

Absolut in Ordnung für ein paar Tage Amsterdam
Das Hotel war sehr sauber und es herrschte eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super. Alles ist schnell zu erreichen. Nur ein paar kleine Dinge wären zu bemängeln: immer wenn geputzt wurde, roch das komplette Haus ziemlich nach Zitronenreiniger. War aber jetzt nicht übermäßig schlimm. Außerdem hat die relativ laute Musik aus den Charts beim Frühstück etwas genervt. Das Frühstück war auch okay. Es gab Toast, den man sich belegen konnte (süß&salzig) oder man konnte Müsli essen. Bei Fragen konnte man sich immer an das Personal wenden, welches einem gerne weitergeholfen hat. Insgesamt stimmt die Preis-Leistungs-Qualität.

The money is alright i suppose for the bed. The bed i got was comfy. People in the mornings make alot of noise slamming doors. The 'breakfast' is a laugh... a slice of ham, a bread roll, jam and butter and yogurt isnt really classed as a breakfast... that was the only disspointment for me. Was informed what juices would be provided to us on our floor but ours was always empty. Had to visit the first floor where it was only stocked. Overall bed i got was nice

However, I am sorry that we are unable to offer our usual tasty breakfast buffet, due to renovation work. This will change by the end of April, as by then we can use our common room again. Furthermore, I am disappointed the drinks’ trolley was not refilled, and I will surely discuss this matter with our team to prevent it from happening again. Great location, good facilities on site, clean with towels and bedsheets provided. Nice to have the breakfast included too although I did have to eat in the corridor if your roommates are still sleeping. A bit noisy due to building works but that’s a temporary thing, overall good I’d recommend it.
