Großartiges Hotel.
Sehr sauberes Zimmer, ordentliches Hotel, extrem gut gelegen in der Stadt. Würde definitiv wieder hier übernachten. Nur die Schallisolierung zum Flur könnte etwas besser sein.

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal, sehr kleine Zimmer (Badezimmertür war sehr durchsichtig). Check in konnte man selber machen, was sehr schnell ging. Leider waren wir während einer Renovation im Hotel und am morgen früh waren direkt vor unserem Fenster Arbeiter, sodass wir nicht mehr schlafen konnten (die Fenster waren auch kaputt und nur mit Folie bedeckt, deshalb hörte man alles von draussen).

Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal, das einem sehr gut hilft. Hatte während des Auscheckens meine sehr teueren TWS Kopfhörer im Zimmer liegen lassen, es wurde kurz telefoniert, jemand hat das ZIMMER durgeschaut, und sie direkt gefunden. Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert, super nahe zentrums Lage, gute Preise und sehr ruhig. Immer wieder gerne.

Schönes Hotel in City Nähe. Viele Highlights fussläufig erreichbar. 5 Minuten bis zur Leidseplein (Essen + Trinken) sowie Leidsestraat (Shopping). Circa 25 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hauptbahnhof, oder direkte Tram Anbindung. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Personal aufmerksam. Der Check-In und der Check-Out waren problemlos möglich über ein Self Service Gerät. Schöner Lobby Bereich mit gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln, wir als Gruppe saßen dort gerne am Abend um noch eine Kleinigkeit zu trinken. Moderate Preise. Die Zimmer sind sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand, allerdings recht klein (wie jedoch auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, sodass wir nicht überrascht waren). Für uns war es Absolution Ordnung, da wir lediglich zum übernachten im Raum waren. Es war gemütlich, das Bett angenehm. Kühlschrank vorhanden. Das Frühstück für 10€ war insgesamt in Ordnung, leckeres Rührei und toller O-Saft. Allerdings wenig Auswahl für Vegetarier, lediglich eine Sorte Käse oder Nutella / Marmelade. Dafür kleine Highlights wie Pancakes oder abwechselnde Smoothies vollendeten das Angebot. Wir würden das Hotel The Ed definitiv wieder wählen und uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit
Es wurde zwar jeden Tag obligatorisch das Zimmer auf den Urzustand gebracht. Allerdings wurde nie ordentlich geputzt. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise hatten wir die selbe Decke und Laken, mit den selben Flecken drauf. Haare und Krümel(nicht von uns) waren jeden Tag auf der Decke, vermutlich auf den Boden gelegt und wieder aufs Bett, echt sehr ekelhaft. Hier sollte man sich Gedanken machen die Putzfrau zu wechseln, man hat nämlich keine Lupe gebraucht, den Schmutz hat man sofort von der Zimmertüre aus gesehen.

Definitely not soundproof rooms. You can hear everyone. People upstairs walking and knocking on doors, people down the hall in other rooms having conversations, the people directly next to us having sexual relations, and the street noise made it pretty close to impossible to sleep. Cute room and interesting decor, but if you’re looking for a hotel to sleep at, look elsewhere. Close to lots.

Very good hotel with great location. Tram and bus stops near and a lots of restaurants and super markets. The room size was convenient, not so spacious, but works fine. Breakfast was not expensive, but not many hot dishes. Service was good and loved that they had a self check-out market with all the essentials. Only thing i didn't like was the glass wall in the bathroom, located just beside the toilet, in front of the bed, which leaves no privacy at all. But overall, good hotel, would recommend.

This hotel was lovely, the interior design was fabulous! The room we had was a double and was very small but we made it work. The air con in our room didn’t work which was a shame, as at night it got quite hot in the room. The hotel was about a 20-30 min walk to anywhere in the center, so bring your walking shoes! Overall a perfect stay for the price!

The staff were extremally helpful and friendly. Hotel was in a good location close to the busy leidseplein area and also to the museum's. There were also plenty of amenities close to the hotel, but it is the staff that make this hotel. The room was quiet and clean.
