„We have raved about this house to so many people. It was beautiful and spacious and right near some amazing hikes. This area is breathtaking. Working with the host was very easy and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this home. If you don't have a rental car, make sure you come prepared with some food (as there is only 1 pub nearby, and it has unpredictable hours). We hope to return one day!“

„We loved spending our Christmas there. Each morning we were greeted by a wonderful view of fells from the living room and bedroom. The property was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable, had mod cons, very well stocked, and best of all a fire you could snuggle up to. Our host kept good communication, and kindly decorated a Christmas tree for us. Would love to return“

„Lovely cottage, compact but enough space for two of us and our furry friend. The outside space was perfect for Sasha. There is some road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping well. A little further from Ambleside than we thought though it is walkable. We would stay here again.“

„The house was excellent. The skies holiday host left a lot to be desired ! There were things broken in the property. He didn’t fix them and wanted to charge 20 pounds for an hour later check out - ! Which quite frankly when you are paying a lot for a holiday home is outrageous - especially as we knew there was no one else booked into the house. Such a shame because the house was amazing and we had a lovely time but that customer service would have made all the difference if it had been good.“

"Basically a nice hotel. A few things could be improved: There is no storage space for things in the bathroom. Lack of hooks or bars to hang bathroom towels. The save was not functional. The room made a newly renovated impression, but unfortunately with the above missing details."
