„Very nice hotel, big rooms in an old villa, fully equipped. The staff was very friendly and helped with everything you need. The pool area is rather small (it's in the patio and there are no sun loungers), but a nice location where you can spend some time in the shade reading when it is too hot to go outside. „Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Fenix. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr nett und freundlich, man fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Unser Zimmer war äußerst sauber und wurde jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück – sehr lecker, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Mit Pool auch sehr gute Ausstattung. Zimmer modern und sauber, wir hatten schönen Blick auf Plaza. Preis/Leistung hervorragend. Die Lage ist somit im Zentrum perfekt, wiewohl es nicht viel zu sehen gibt. “

„The staff was AMAZING, they were so helpful when we had to unexpectedly jet back to Lima for the PCR test that was unavailable in Iquitos. They somehow hustled up our laundry, washed and folded ( which I was preparing to abandon) even as we flew out the door for the airport. Too bad we could not have stayed longer. “

The hotel now is very clean, fairly quiet with comfortable rooms/beds, great showers, good WiFi, wonderful staff and is set at a very fair price. I know the city of Iquitos well and this is one of the best places you can stay, particularly if you’re just staying for a few nights. It’s in a very central location near everything you would want to be close to. Very safe also. ...
