"Es ist ein tolles Hotel, das meinen Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Die Zimmer sind nur ein wenig müde. Alles funktionierte und war sauber, aber das Dekor und die Einrichtung sind in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war gut und im Vergleich zu dem, was man im Stadtzentrum bekommt, recht günstig."

"Das Hotel hat dringend eine Renovation nötig. Das Zimmer war noch am besten in Schuss. Der Poolbereich war nicht so sauber bzw. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen (die Decke blätterte ab). Auch das Restaurant war renovationsbedürftig. Die Teller und das Besteck beim Morgenessen war nie ganz sauber. Zum übernachten ganz ok, aber definitiv nicht top. "

"Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover."

"This Hilton has rooms which are clean and quiet, beds are good but no option to ventilate the room. The restaurant facilities can’t be worse: at opening time of the restaurant we ordered food and 10 minutes later you are told to order something else because they ran out of it. As we had chosen something else, the response was: “Is THAT all, you want nothing else?” In a very arrogant way. Then they even expect a tip afterwards. During Checkout, the receptionists were unable to produce an invoice. I wanted to know how much and for what I would be charged. This was the wrong question as the receptionist in jogging-trousers became very unfriendly. This is not what I’m used to experience in a Hilton Hotel!"
