„Booked room online looked very nice. At arrival I was very surprised place was very very quiet signs were cell phones couldn’t be used. Booked a king size bed got a queen or full size partner and I couldn’t even move at night that’s how small bed was. Little disappointed room had ants got on top of my pizza I bought the night before. Breakfast area had ants as well. I personally wouldn’t stay there again place was to quiet and nothing like the website.“

„This lodge is in a beautiful location with expansive views of the mountains around Julian, CA. The room was large with a pleasant bathroom with skylight. There is air conditioning in every guest room. The large living room has a TV (so do the rooms) as well as a billiard table. The kitchen was spacious and the hosts provided eggs, bread, milk, bananas, and ramen soup bowls for the guests. „The room was clean and as described. However, it is right next to a major road way, and traffic starts running around 4 am during the week and that is all you can hear, it's so loud it sounds like it's in the room with you. Traffic starts later on the weekends So its great if you're an early riser. Also don't expect maid service if you stay for an extended stay. We had to go to the office to ask for extra towels (the room came with two bath, two hand towels, two wash clothes and one bath mat), ...

„I have stayed here before and loved it because it's close to my family, this is why i was very disappointed to find bugs (roaches) in the bathroom :( I left earlier than I wanted. I hope this gets resolved. Oh, and I couldn't get the TV to work :( The front desk clerk did come and turned it on but, the remote wouldn't work. “

„It was neither quiet nor clean. The shower was filthy—mud ran on the floor when we turned on the water. Floor and air conditioners had not been clean so it was dusty. And it would helpful if some of the basic amenities were present like a hairdryer and a coffee pot. “

„Room is a step above most non-chain motel rooms with very sparse amenities, limited parking, ok bedding, and small towels. We only used it for sleeping as we spent more time at our families house. For the price compared to others in the area it was very economical and fit what my Son and I needed.“
