„The location we had originally booked canceled our reservation due to selling property and issues with plumbing. Upon searching for something close we stumbled across this amazing property. Granted its not on the water like the place we originally had, but this location slept more people, was large, had 2 bathrooms, a cleaning room for fish, a huge kitchen, was decorated very nicely with outdoor theme, and the owners were very accommodating, easy to work with and fast to respond. „This is a historic home that is beautifully restored to its glory, and tastefully outfitted with the modern conveniences one hopes for. very comfortable. „I had an issue getting into my room after returning and the staff was very gracious and put me into a dofferent room and drove 30 minutes to help rescue me so i could get my belongings from the room. I would stay here again. Has wonderful historic charm. “

„The staff at the hotel were so friendly and knowledgeable. We did not know any of the history of the hotel or town when we booked our stay and everyone was so kind in welcoming us and sharing with us the unique history! Highly recommend staying here for a few nights to tour all the town has to offer.“

„Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.“

„This was what we were looking for. Close to Grand Maris and surrounding area. On the lake was beautiful, super full moon on the water.accommodations meant with our needs. Plenty of space for 5. The only complaint was the futon. It was not comfortable at all. Brought in chais from the deck. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves in the rental.“
