„After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease. The sleeping quarters are very cosy, with a separate bathroom and living room containing everything you need for a relaxed stay, best of all a very comfortable bed. „Lovely stay in this Boutique Hotel. Everything is so tastefully put together, loved the room. Friendliest of welcome by the owner, great service at breakfast next morning. Dinner was best in 2 weeks so far. Only tiny downside is the missing AC while it was really, really hot weather.

„Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced...

„Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und das Essen ist lecker. Das Zimmer war jedoch nicht übermäßig schön eingerichtet und hatte durch die geringe Isolierung ein etwas komisches Klima. Die Bar war sehr kalt, sodass wir dort nur mit einer Jacke sitzen konnten. Für ein oder zwei Nächte kann man dort gut übernachten, wobei der Preis dafür schon saftig ist. “

No, it wasn't. Their Reservation was clear, 2 doubles with bath and breakfast.
So the 2nd room was freed with shared bathroom and both pretty battered.
Expedia had already charged for both ordered rooms, hotel wanted to further charge, which I rejected.
Beautiful area, also hotel location at the river bridge and parking.
Look for another accomodation. Not worth the hassle.“
