Schönes geräumiges Appartement, sehr gutes Fruehstueck,8min.zum Strand leider bei unseren Aufenthalt eine Baustelle auf über 1km länge .

Nice rooms
I stayed at Monte Gordo Apt for 4 nights. Rooms were clean, spacious and well priced. Reception service was also great and very client-focussed. Breakfast service however was quite rude and unfriendly. Spa/pool facilities are great. What I didnt like was however the level of noise in the hotel. I had a baby staying next door and every night, i woke up every 2 hours due to the screaming which you could hear everywhere. This really spoilt my vacation and my triathlon race experience :-(

kann man nicht meckern
Ich hatte erst für 3 Nächte ein Zimmer gebucht, dann bin ich umgestiegen auf 4 Nächte Appartment, da war das Frühstück nicht mehr inbegriffen, da hab ich mich ein bisschen geärgert, aber das Appartment war trotzdem toll

Great Hotel for family vacations at the beach.
When booking I always look for reviews. Some were bad some good. In the end I can only recommend this hotel for family vacations. Like all the hotels at the beach, we cannot expect the best cleanness. There's always sand in the floor! But the rest was perfect. The breakfast was very good and with several options. There's a small swimming pool, for the ones that like to use it, after the beach. In fact the "spa" is not the biggest and complete, but who cares if you have a nice beach to do some jogging and "wellness". The staff was friendly and the cleaning personnel very respectful and always accepted to come later if we were taking a nap. Finally the room was a small (big) apartment, for the three of us. It had a full equipped kitchen and we even had some lunches in the room. Definitely a place to return and recommend to family/friends/colleagues when doing vacations in Algarve.

Depressing Stay
I wrote ahead asing for the two twins to be made up as one bed. The hotel did not write back or make up the bed. They I got a lame excuse when I arrived. I asked for coffee in the morning. The machine was in the restaurant but the desk person said I had to wait for breakfast. The walls are paper thin. They don't seem to want you there. Decent mattress and bedding. Also, a nice indoor pool with power jets for massage.

Fantastic Hotel
We have stayed at the Monte Gordo Hotel many times. This is a very friendly hotel with courteous staff & a high level of cleanliness. The service we have received has been consistent on every stay which is why we are return guests. Bedrooms are a medium to large size with very comfortable beds. The apartments are large with good quality furniture. We haven't used the spa facilities so cannot comment on this service though i would expect it to be of the same high quality standard of the hotel. Breakfast has a good choice of food for all nationalities and the breakfast room offers a relaxed atmosphere, we have never needed to wait to be seated and staff are always welcoming. A perfect start to the day!

I very much enjoyed this hotel. From check-in to check-out, it was pleasant and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the pool area was great, and breakfast was delicious. The front desk was especially friendly and accomodating. This will be my hotel in Monte Gordo in the very near future.

14 nights of peace
Amazing stay at Monte Gordo, from check in to check out. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly and so helpful. The hotel is spotless, pool is nice. Wifi in the hotel is really good and you have a smart tv in the room. Definitely recommend the hotel and will be back.

Loved that kids were allowed in the spa area w/ no restrictions. Loved how the apt was properly cleaned daily (including sweeping of the floors).Kitchen well equipped, clean, wonderful experience! HOWEVER, the shower curtains smelled like urine as they were kind of plastic and that is the kind of thing you see in a 2 star hotel. 4 star hotels need a glass in the shower/tub, not plastic curtains.
