Paradies mit Schatten
Irgendwo im Nirgendwo, aber eingebettet in einen paradiesischen Garten, mit Blick auf den Indischen Ozean, kann man an einem Riesenpool relaxen, im Shishazelt arabischen Träumen nachhängen, zu langen Strandwanderungen aufbrechen, Wellness und SPA genießen, zu einer Tauch- oder Fischertour aufbrechen oder sich vielleicht auf eine kulinarische Weltreise begeben. Die Zimmer, alle mit Meerblick, sind großzügig und elegant ausgestattet. Das Personal ist durchwegs bemüht und sehr freundlich! Nachteile: Riesenbaustelle in direkter Nachbarschaft (Lärm) Teerablagerungen am Strand, Sehr abgelegene Lage: Transfer vom Airport Dubai gute 2 Std, immer extra zu bezahlen. Nächster größerer Ort ist Fujairah Stadt, in ca. 40 Min. erreichbar.

Erstklassiges 5-Sterne-Hotel
Das Hotel liegt am ruhigen Strand von Al Aqah. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Zimmer sind super groß und wurden vergangenes Jahr komplett und sehr modern renoviert. Die Zimmerausstattung ist ausgezeichnet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Hauptrestaurant Views bietet sehr vielfältige und qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, Halbpension ist völlig ausreichend. Die Freizeitanlagen sind in einem sehr guten Zustand und bestens gepflegt. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist stets überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, wirklich vorbildlich.

Urlaubshotel mit für den Preis angemessener Leistung. Insgesamt war alles in Ordnung (Service, Sauberkeit, Zustand), aber für den Preis kann man das auch erwarten. Die Essensmöglichkeiten vor Ort fand ich persönlich auch etwas überteuert. Während meines Aufenthaltes waren viele Familie mit Kindern da. Ein internationales Publikum.

We had a balcony with an ocean view and it did not disappoint! The room was spacious and clean...we especially liked the large shower. The amenities were superb...the pool and beach were very well maintained, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had everything and was very well done. The staff were very professional--first class.

Tired Feel To An Old Favourite
Went for diving so glad to stay where the dive centre is located. Hotel itself is looking and feeling old & is in need of renovation. Is very much over shadowed by the new Intercontinental Hotel next door & yet the prices of the stays are very similar. Wifi in the hotel is ridiculously slow - try and stream anything and it will drive you crazy! Hotel front office staff don't seem to wear uniforms which is a bit odd - not a great look IMO but that is for the hotel management to figure out. Great location but in need of investment & upscaling of restaurants.

Rooms are very good, clean , great view. What I didn’t like was that there wasn’t enough swimming area along the beach.

All staff across the hotel was friendly, helpful and kind. Xmas set menu was below average; scallops were overcooked.

Excellent
Overall our 8 night stay was excellent. Everyone on staff was pleasant, courteous and professional even to the point of remembering our names. The only discordant note was the shrieking children. We’d read of this in other reviews but didn’t realize how pervasive it is. Very much a family resort, with lots of activities and amenities.
