Sehr nettes Personal, sehr schöne Anlage im Grünen mit kleinen gemütlichen, aber auch sehr hellhörigen Zimmern. Leider hat uns der Feueralarm aus benachbarten Hâusern - vermutlich Fehlalarme - zweimal aufgeweckt. Gute Ausstattung der Küche. Waschmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, jedoch etwas zu wenig Maschinen. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

Tolles Hostel in Airlie Beach
tolles Hostel in grüner Anlage. Nur ein paar Schritte zu Bars, Shops, Restaurants und der Badelagune. Trotzdem ruhig. Zimmer & Badezimmer sind sehr sauber. Woolworths ist gleich um die Ecke. Das Personal ist super freundlich & hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist sehr stark belegt, was etwas mühsam war. Das Wifi war sehr träge, aber ok.

Backpacker Hostel
Backpacker Hostel mit Pub, Billard, Beach Volleyball und direkt an der Partymeile, der Lagune und dem Strand. Der Hafen ist zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr eng, ohne Schrank mit Kühlschrank und wasserkocher. WLAN gibt es in der Barbecue area. Alles in allem für den Preis völlig in Ordnung.

The location was great and the staff friendly. The room was a bit musty and the fan could only be switched off with the central electricity switch, so that the light would also go off. The luggage storage room was only accessible every 30/60 mins.

Viele junge Leute, für 1,2 Nächte ok, wer es ruhiger mag ist hier vielleicht nicht richtig. Wobei es ab 12 uhr ruhig ist. 2 Küchen, die hintere ist etwas aufgeräumter & ruhiger. Für die Gepäckaufbewahrung muss man bezahlen.

Günstig und laut!
Sehr großes gut durch organisiertes Hostel. Bedauerlicherweise ist auf Grund der vielen Partyinteressierten Bewohner auch Nachts oft im Wohnbereich laut. Wir wurden zweimal morgens um 4 Uhr von Gitarrenlärm geweckt, der sich trotz Beschwerden der Gäste nur wiederwillig beenden ließ.

Party-Hostel für junges und nachtaktives Publikum
Das Gelände selbst ist sehr schön gestaltet und liegt sehr zentral. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Publikum besteht größtenteils aus jungen, meist europäischen, Backpackern. Der Geräuschpegel ist -auch nachts- sehr hoch und es wird -auch wenn es gegen die Richlinien der Unterkunft ist- sehr viel Alkohol konsumiert. Unser Zimmer (twin room) war sehr klein, wie eine kleine "Kabine", rundum mit Holz verkleidet (was einen seltsamen "Eigengeruch" verursacht hat, und keinen angenehmen...) und bestand aus einem wackeligen Hochbett in der Mitte des Raumes (ohne jegliche Absturzsicherung oder Treppe) und einem kleinen Schränkchen mit kleiner Ablagefläche. Die Wände scheinen sehr dünn zu sein, da aus den Nachbarzimmer auch nachts jedes Wort verstanden werden konnte. Das Zimmer war jedoch grundsätzlich sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsduschen und -toiletten waren grundsätzlich sauber, jedoch gibt es bei den Waschbecken weder Seife, noch eine Möglichkeit, sich die Hände abzutrocknen, was ich nicht so toll fand.

Schönes Hostel, super Lage, gut zum Party machen
Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, was einen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher, Besteck und Geschirr enthielt. Ebenfalls war ein Ventilator und eine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Das Zimmer war leider nicht sehr groß, max. 10 qm. Die Anlage war schön, allerdings nachteilig war das WLAN, was nur an einem bestimmten Ort verfügbar war. In den Zimmern war es nicht verfügbar. Nachts war es eigentlich immer ruhig, da die Zimmer nicht direkt an der Straße liegen. An der Straße gab es mehrere Nachtclubs, also auch gut um Party zu machen. Alkohol war in der Anlage verboten, was wohl auch dazu beigetragen hat, dass es ruhig war und keine Partys auf den Zimmern gefeiert wurden.

I loved Magnums. We had a triple room with an en-suite and the space was great. The large double commercial kitchen downstairs was always busy but always with enough space to cook. It felt like a tropical resort with lush green trees everywhere.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property feels a bit like a rainforest with all the trees and canopies. The mattress and the cabin in whole were a bit dated. We didn’t care for the shower (curtain) set up and the way the shower pan had been patched up. The AC was super powerful and we also had a ceiling fan, which was great with all the humidity. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The cabin was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well so the room was always cool, even with very hot temperatures outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom was maintained well. There were a lot of bugs around all the time as cabins are surrounded by trees.

We had two brilliant stays separated by a 3 day tour. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the place is amazing, like being in a rainforest. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great location.

Had a great time here! Stayed just one night, arrived after hours, so phoned ahead to let reception know. They advised they would pop a key in a safe box for us and text us the pin number, which they did. Super smooth check in. The room was fine, and the overall layout and feel of the place was great! Excellent location, right across the street from the lagoon. The friendly reception staff were happy to mind our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Highly recommend this place 😊

I liked the setting very much. You felt like you were walking through a rain forest even though you are right in the centre of the main street. The communal areas are very clean, I liked having an electric kettle, some crockery, cutlery and a small fridge in the room. Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are right on the doorstep. The beach and a swimming area are just a short walk away.

Beautiful setting for this backpackers. Being in our 40s, my friend and I like our home comforts. To find that there are 2 showers to every 6 rooms, and are attached to each accommodation block was great, it not just a massive shower block miles from the room. The showers are really good. Reception staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Cabin 74, it had a nice outlook overlooking a hammock and a picnic table. Although the shops were nearly, we felt as though we were in the jungle. In the accommodation, the windows were dirty, the blind wasn't working properly and there were no fly screens. It was still nice though.
