If it is day trip to the islands you are after, Port of Airlie is only two minutes away where you can jump on a ferry for a day trip to the reef where you can scuba dive or snorkel around the islands. For the more adventurous maybe a jet ski tour or a scenic flight over the islands or experience the ultimate thrill of a skydive and view the crystal clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef from an altitude of up to 15,000ft.
