The hotel itself is very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and we truly appreciated the overall atmosphere and facilities. However, our experience was significantly affected by several negative aspects of the service.
Unfortunately, the staff at the buffet was noticeably unfriendly and, at times, their behavior felt discriminatory. My wife, who wears a headscarf, was treated differently compared to other guests. While others were approached multiple times and kindly asked if they would like drinks, we were often not asked at all. This unequal treatment was quite apparent and disappointing.
In general, the staff seemed less welcoming toward guests wearing headscarves, which is particularly concerning given that the hotel is located in a Muslim country. Respect, inclusivity, and equal treatment should be standard for all guests, regardless of their appearance or background.
Additionally, when we reported that the hairdryer in our room was broken and asked if it could be fixed, our request was not addressed at all. This lack of response further contributed to our dissatisfaction.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all guests are treated with the same level of courtesy, respect, and attentiveness in the future.
