„What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!“

„The property was exactly as described with all amenities that one needs for such a stay. It was a pleasant one week stay at the holiday home. Very clean, organised and quiet environment. Had an issues with the heating of the holiday home as this was not working properly but at least it could be switched on manually. Other than that....a perfect stay! “

„This was a last minute booking for us as a wee family treat. The hosts were there on arrival and kindly gave us lots of great tips for exploring the surrounding areas. There is paddleboarding and axe throwing adjacent to the site and Montrose and Brechin are a short drive away. Treat yourself to a lovely riverside woodland walk (blue door walk) in the pretty village of Edzell which is also a short car journey away. The host also advised us to try the Anchor pub in Johnshaven village for food ...
