Ganz allgemein: Wir haben eine Haus erhalten, welche leider gar nicht sauber ist. Es schien als wären die vorgänger erst gegangen. Somit leider alles sehr Schmutzig. Nach unserer Reklamation an der Reception haben wir aber eine andere Haus erhalten. Diese war dann sauber und wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt geniessen!

Ist halt ein altes Schottland Hotel Boden Wände schief alles sehr verwinkelt . Zimmer richt etwas, weiß nicht was es ist man gewöhnt sich dran . Frühstück sehr schottisch ich würde sagen ganz gut aber für uns war es nicht so gut da wir die Dinge nicht kennen . Probiert hat uns aber trotzdem nicht geschmeckt das ist unsere persönliche Meinung. Alle Engländer haben aber voll reingehauen 😂. Das Restaurants was sich auch im Haus befindet ist zu empfehlen TOP.

Even on a really busy evening when fully booked in Thier restaurant they brought food to my room off Thier restaurant menu and it was the best food I had eaten in Crieff including eating at crieff hydro and a few local restaurants. The room was lovely and had a small kitchenette more than adequate. A really lovely stay. Highly recommend.“

"We stayed at Dunclutha Guest House for two nights in August as the first stop on our Scottish road trip, and it set the bar high. The guesthouse has a warm, homely feel, like staying at a relative’s place (the kind you like visiting). Julie and Richard were wonderful hosts: friendly and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, you fill out a checklist the day before and they cook everything fresh, I loved their poached eggs and haggis. There was also a good spread of fruit, yoghurt, and juice in the breakfast room. Our room was clean, cosy, and came with thoughtful touches like homemade shortbread (which didn’t last long!) and tea/coffee. We didn’t expect housekeeping for such a short stay, but the room was cleaned and fresh towels were waiting when we returned. The bed was very comfortable, and while our room faced a road with some early morning traffic noise, it didn’t detract much from the experience. We used the guesthouse as a base to explore St Andrews and take a boat trip to the Isle of May from Anstruther — both lovely drives through the Fife countryside. There was convenient parking right outside the house. And if you're a cat lover, keep an eye out for the resident felines — they’re just as charming as the hosts. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend to couples, solo travellers, families, and anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed Scottish B&B experience."
