„i have been two nights here and was given room 2209 at the executive floor. room war spacy and as expected. the restaurant at ground floor is decent, but there are more specialized locations in the city of course. the hotel itself is well maintained and lounge/bar/lobby invites to stay. Breakfast was ritch and good. the staff i met was very well skilled and did observe the customers and situation well and unobtrusive. would stay here again.“

„We traveled as a family, and found the novotel very family friendly. The playground inside (with ikea Kitchen, ikea tunnel, ikea darts, etc) and outside (slide, check) at the beautiful garden. The rooms are big enough for 2 adults and two small children. The only thing is, the kids pool was a bit dirty as everyone has to walk through it, to get to the adults pool. “

„Very clean and spacious apartment. Best view of Porto I think (if you choose a room with river view). We spent four nights there and enjoyed just sitting in the apartment and watching the river and Porto on the other side. Anyway, it is not far to the other side and old part of Porto, easily crossing the bridge. Small supermarkets and restaurants are just around the corner. We enjoyed every day of our stay and really recommend it. And also we have to mention the friendly, nice and helpful staff!“

„Séjour juste convenable par rapport au prix demandé, chambre très bruyante, passage d'une route à grand trafic à proximité. Equipement de la chambre assez minimaliste. J'ai dû réclamer pour que la chambre soit faite. Fin de journée, chambre toujours pas nettoyé. Restauration, je m'y suis risqué que le premier soir, cela ressemblait plus à un repas de cantine qu'autre chose. “

„Heel fijne ervaring! Mooi klein hotel, heel smaakvol ingericht, mooie kamers, verfijnd ontbijt, supervriendelijk personeel, relaxte sfeer, relax zwembad met mooi zicht over de Douro. De twee zussen, die het hotel runnen, hebben echt overal aan gedacht om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Echte aanrader!“

„Auf der Gaia-Seite des Douro gelegen, ganz in der Nähe vom Flussufer mit Blick auf Porto, bietet das kleine Hotel einen wunderschönen Schlafplatz und ein gutes Frühstück als Tischbuffet. Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet, das Bett bequem. Einzig die Tatsache, dass es keinen Smart-TV gibt, ist etwas, was verbessert werden kann. Ansonsten würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen. ;)“

„This is a real value for money hotel. I was on the sixth floor and the room and bathroom were spotless, with the rooms serviced daily. The bed was really comfortable and there was no disturbance from traffic noise at night even though the metro line runs directly outside the hotel. Although admittedly I was at the back of the hotel which would be quiter in any case. The staff were welcoming, professional and extremely helpful with check-in and check-out being effortless. Decoration throughout is very tasteful and calm. The restaurant has direct river / bridge views. Breakfast is excellent with a good buffet selection and any other wishes can be ordered without additional cost from a menu. Special mention for the really excellent pancakes. Staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful, as are the reception staff. A small gym room is available with mostly cardio equipment (stairmaster, bike and treadmill), plus a multi-gym (a shame as this was partly missing cables) and a few free weights (up to 10kg though). The room and equipment were clean and there is a large window along one side. Underground parking is available at extra cost and is a tight squeeze depending on car size"
