„Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, als Zwischenstopp von Cape town nach Joburg. Dafür liegt das Hotel ganz günsttig. an einer Ausfallstraße zur Autobahn. In der nähe gibt es Malls mit den entsprechenden Restaurants. Der Checkin war super. Das Zimmer groß, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Betten waren gut, es gab Dusche und Wanne im Bad. Ab kurz vor 8 hat der Zimmerservice mind. 3x geklopft. Für mich nicht verständlich, wenn man nur eine Nacht gebucht hat und noch nicht ausgecheckt hat. ...

„I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the breakfast. Room 603 However, my aircon dod not blow cold at all. The Hot water in my room took 15 mins to come, an extreme waste of water. This was with the maintenance crew standing and pouring the taps i could not use thw shower as the cold tap was not functional. I was then assisted to tey find a new room. Of which we tried 612, 311 & 200 and something, not one of the rooms aircons worked. Nor did any of thw taps run hot in under 5 mins of pouring ...

„I love spacious rooms and Adelante fits within that. Leaving aside the space issue the room was homely, a coffee table and two sofas. I however like a bath as opposed to a shower. This was the only sticky issue for me. The Lodge is located near a mall and therefore restaurants are around the corner. Tha was a big plus for me. “

„It was one of the most horrible experiences in my life. It’s completely unsafe & they charge you for things that don’t exist. If you dispute they threaten your safety. They enter your room any time they want. I was naked getting out of shower when the manager walked in, he didn’t turned away or even apologized just started talking. I could go on and on but to make it short it’s a nightmare property, I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming near that place .“

„I arrived at Ilanga Estate at about 4pm after driving over 650 kms from Durban . I was turned away at the gate and told the hotel is closed . I insisted on going in and going to the bathroom , the security lady wasn’t too happy about that , the entire place was empty , doors locked , nor one car or a single other person. It was traumatic. „I booked based on location and my regular preference of venue being unavailable. I will not book here again. The housekeeping, general attentiveness and facilities leave much to be desired. Check in was an unpleasant experience. No staff ever checked on me throughout my stay or explained any meal options or services. Dirty cups were not even removed from my room for two days. The staff seemed fully focused on their conference guests and completely ignored me as a guest. “
