„We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Had dinner there every night. It was such a Good stay. Best in Kampala. Clean, safe, brilliant food, friendly staff. Location I don’t know How Good it is. But it all depends where you’re going. Good to avoid traffic in downtown Kampala. If chef Onyango Godfrey is on - Get the Tikka Masala. One of the best I’ve ever had. And I love indian food. “

„The entire property is a little gem a hotel and reasonably priced! Im from the USA and the Galaxy is my preferred choice in hotels. It always clean. All the rooms are nice and all have TVs and cable. The restaurant on Roof Top serves great food and you cant beat the FREE BREAKFAST! Its location is perfectly located near downtown where you can walk to shop or catch a Boda or Taxi to town. Awesome Manager, helpful, and friendly Staff!“

„This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala.“

„Schönes Hotel, aber schlechter Kundenservice, den uns wurde beim Check-In zugesagt, am nächsten Tag gegen Aufpreis einen späten Check-Out vorzunehmen, da unser Flug erst am Abend ging. Am nächsten Morgen hieß es dann jedoch, das Hotel sei ausgebucht und wir müssten das Zimmer regulär verlassen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war unfreundlich und auch nicht bemüht, eine Lösung zu finden.“

„A very nice place to stay in Kampala. We had a cottage for a week and really felt at home. Staff is attentive and friendly, always helpful. We enjoyed the garden and the quiet ambience. A real resting place to chill and relax after a day of work in this busy and noisy city. Restaurant is good average, nothing to complain about. We liked to sit on the verandah for dinner. Must try the fresh fish from the lake! Didn't see the rooms but highly recommend the cottages, rates are slightly higher but ...

„Ich kenne Gately Inn seit 2008 und fühle mich sicher. Das ist mit wichtig, da ich meistens alleine reise. ( bin eine ältere Frau!) Shuttle and E-Mail Service ist hervorragend. So auch die Speisen und der Kaffee!!!“

„While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money.“
