„I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished ...

„I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back.“

„Fantastic stay at the Boathouse, with such an amazing prime balcony location overlooking he estuary enabling us to enjoy the views morning and evening - when the weather allowed! The house was very clean and well looked after. One minor thing to be aware of is, being next to the Crabshell Inn, the early morning supply delivery and bin collection lorry reversing warnings as they backed up right outside the downstairs bedroom, which cant be helped, other than that a very enjoyable stay.“

„The property was bright and well designed. Very comfortable mattress and bed linen. 5 minute walk to the sea. Plenty of shared outdoor space. The bedrooms lead from one into to the other which was fine for us as a couple but wouldn’t suit everyone. The thermostat on the shower was a bit erratic but hopefully mended by now.“

„This is a great flat. Nicely set up and with just about everything you'd need for a holiday. A good layout for keeping shoes in the hall and limit sand moving around. It was super clean and comfortable. Quiet despite being a flat in a building. Great views! One of the best we've stayed in. Good with a dog too and a short walk to good (dog friendly!) beaches as well as not far to both the Village Inn and the Beachhouse for food. Only 1 car space. Fine for us but worth noting. “
