„Basic but safe and quiet. “

„Es war super, dass wir auch noch sehr spät einchecken konnten, weil wir aufgrund von Stau und Verspätungen bei der Fähre erst gegen Mitternacht da waren. Allerdings haben wir nicht alles Informationen erhalten, wie z. B. dass man Housekeeping nur auf Anfrage bekommt. Das Problem mit dem Fernseher wurde umgehend gelöst. Und das Essen war gut. “

„Fantastic little stay at this place. You can really see that they have put some thought into how they do things to make yiur stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable with fresh and clean bedsheets, the bathroom was clean with clean towels. The continental breakfast thatnis left in the room is a great odea. „We had a rather mixed experience at Wenns Chop & Ale House. While the location was great and the restaurant offered some great options, the room left much to be desired. The disappointment began when we entered our room. What we have booked was advertised as a deluxe apartment on Hotels.com. The pictures on the platform had promised a spacious room with a comfortable sofa and an impressive bathtub in the middle of the room, along with a view of the minster. Das Personal begrüßte einen am nächsten Morgen nicht und aufgeklärt über die Frühstückssitiation wurde auch nicht. Das Frühstück an sich fiel auch dürftig aus und alle warmen Speisen wie bspw. Eier oder Speck waren kostenpflichtig (es lag eine Karte am Tresen aus). Schade “

„Slightly understaffed at times. Not all staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Jessica who's the heart and soul of operations. Would be nice if staff passed the time of day when you see them e.g. for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was excellent. Room cosy enough, mattresses good. Slightly damp. Heating not provided although requested and promised by member of staff. Excellently located to explore Lincoln and the area. Would probably return.“
