„It was in the middle of renovation (in high season) the reception was a mess, in my room the floor was not cleaned properly and it was missing a light bulb in one light, the main light switch was well concealed behind a curtain behind the wardrobe and took some finding. Access to my room was from a path open to the street and the means of locking it unfamiliar so the first day I had to leave it open. When I eventually saw the helpful room service lady, who was there for three hours every day so ...

„This island is a truly beautiful place to visit. Our host Mitch ,left lots of useful information inside our room. Plus his own personal knowledge. If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit.
Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill. Take your second left and your there. Making it an easy walk into Brodick. Good news for people wanting to do goat fell .
