„It's a perfect place to stay for the price. It also includes free breakfast and free refreshments from 4pm - midnight I believe.
The staff are very inviting, helpful, courteous, and kind.

„Mein Aufenthalt in Paco war sehr, sehr angenehm, Onsen war gross und gut. Falls ich nochmals nach Hakodate fahren würde, würde ich dieses Hotel mit 100% sicherheut wählen. Das Zimmer war gross, das Bett wunderbar. “
„Sehr schönes, großes, komfortables Zimmer. Bequemes Bett. Uns hat es im Grand Hotel Hachinohe so gut gefallen, dass wir um zwei Nächte verlängert haben.“
„I had a wonderful stay at JR Inn Hakodate, and would absolutely recommend it—especially if you’re arriving by train, as the hotel is directly connected to the JR station, making it incredibly convenient.
I booked a higher room category, and the room size was noticeably larger than the usual standard in Japan. If you’re traveling with luggage or simply want more space to relax, I can’t stress enough how important it is to upgrade to a bigger room—it really enhanced my comfort.

„Very nice hotel with beautiful views of the city and ocean. Tattoo friendly sauna, which is rare in japan. The open air onsen has a beautiful view of either the ocean and mountains or the city, depending on the day. Good location, walking distance from the train station and beside the fish market“

"Amazing hotel, you can enjoy the traditional side of Japan with great hot springs in traditional clothing or eat delicious meals on a high quality level. Most of the staff speaks and understands English very well. One of our most rememberable nights on our 3 weeks tour through Japan."

Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and basic amenities like a fridge and kettle were provided. Tap water is safe to drink in Japan, so that’s a big plus. While there’s no in-room coffee, I brought my own instant coffee. Alternatively, there’s a lounge on the 12th floor offering green tea and basic drip coffee—what it lacks in strength, the lovely view makes up for.
The tram stop is just outside, giving easy access to major sights, but I also walked a lot and really enjoyed exploring the area on foot.
Lastly, a small detail: I kindly pointed out some dust in the A/C vent to one of the housekeeping staff, who was very sweet and receptive. It’s clear the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and clean environment.
A peaceful, well-located base in Hakodate—great value, comfort, and convenience."
"Close to the train station and morning market. Staff speaks English and was very courteous. The room was larger than expected. The city tram stops right in front of the hotel making it convenient to reach the two major tourist areas within a few minutes."
"Nice Hotels to stay some nights, the furniture and bathroom are a little old but it was okay. We could not sleep that well the second night because we heard our neighbour snorring very loud."

"Gutes und sehr gepflegtes Business Hotel im Stadtzentrum. Haltestelle vom Airport-Shuttle-Bus genau vor der Tür. Zum Bahnhof ist es auch nicht all zu weit.
Genau, was wir gesucht haben."
