Though you can use the hotels own public bath which was very nice. it’s somehow even tattoo friendly if you don’t have specific “japanese” tattoos. there are many local eateries and some stylish coffee shops nearby. rent a bike and explore the island or corss the bridge to Ehime pref. :)

The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit. „For a 2 night stay it was a clean and okay stay, English a little difficult and a bit far off from the JR and Shinkansen station. There is a bus though.
Drinks (coffee, tea, water, some sorts of juice) are for free all day and the included breakfast was okay too. For the price is absolutely fine.“
