„Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Dies lag vor allem daran, dass man mitten in der Natur ist und es einfach total grün ist. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Terasse ist klasse, dort kann man super essen, während Vögel und Geckos da sind. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass es nachts Geräusche durch Frösche gibt, was wir klasse fanden, aber sehr laut ist und es dahwr ggf Personen geben könnte, die dies stört. „We enjoyed our stay in Hilo. The apartment is the ground floor of Ingrid's family home, and has its own separate entrance. Having been to Hilo before, we didn't feel we needed a fancy tourist vacation destination lodging location, for a place to stay. „Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und der Garten ist wunderschön. Die Apartments, mit viel Liebe gemacht, sind in die Jahre gekommen und leider nicht wirklich sauber. Alles fühlt sich klebrig an, überall sind kleine Ameisen und es fehlt auch an Ausstattung. Da die meisten Fenster nicht geschlossen werden können (Glaslamellen) ist es durch Frösche, Grillen und ähnliches die ganze Nacht extrem laut.“

„The studio is exactly what we were hoping for. We had wonderful views every day and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. One little remark: the kitchen is rather small (which we knew in advance). So it was nice being able to cook at least some pasta, but if you are planning on cooking extensively then this might be the wrong place. If you are not planning on doing so, we can only highly recommend staying here.“

„Sehr netter Empfang durch Karla. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Grünen, man hört nur die Natur. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet mit ausreichend Untensilien in der Küche und im Bad. „This little place is just yards away from the waves crashing into the lava cliffs and the ocean breeze keeps the air moving. The living space was very clean and comfortable. It is unique accommodations as the toilet and shower are in a detached bath house. The neighborhood is very quiet and lovely. „Das Ferienhaus ist für 3 Personen geeignet und bietet ein ganz besonderes Wohnerlebnis. Das Auto kann direkt vor dem Haus geparkt werden. Der Garten von Mary ist wunderschön angelegt und von dort aus hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Pazifik. Marry´s Hund Copper ist total lieb, man braucht keine Angst vor ihm zu haben. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und bei Fragen oder Problemen kann man sich an Sie wenden, sie kümmert sich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen!“

"On the first look the room was clean and it looked quite nice but the floor was not really clean and the blanket I had to sleep on had a few stains on it. Also my neighbours threw a big party in the next room and were really loud with a lots of people and they also stole a car. And if theres no party you hear everything your neighbours do and I mean „everything“. The wifi in my room was also non existent. But on the good side the room had some free snacks and it‘s located in a Beautiful spots and the most people living there are nice. Apart from the stains on the blanket and the crumps on the floor the room was clean and I‘m sure it was just bad timing that the party was during my stay. For eating there you have to buy yourself something or order delivery which is ultra expensive there. "
