As we walked to our room upstairs I noticed a live cockroach on the wall. When I went into our room I found a dead on on top of the bed cove. I just hope I didn’t bring any home with me.

I have been to Myrtle Beach many times. This was my first time staying here in Surfside. The property overall was good. For the price and options: pool, breakfast and location I felt the value was really good. It was a bit noisy as it is on Hwy 17 so we heard traffic some. The room was humid but there was a dehumidifier in there to help with that. We did not turn it on until our last day (big mistake on our part). I would have liked better blankets for the bed but overall it was a good stay.

When I call to reserve a room and ask how close is the hotel to Myrtle Beach Boardwalk they told me two minute walk. And in reality it’s 12 minute drive in the car. I asked to get reimbursed and no one was there to reimburse me and I could not get reimbursed so I have to stay the night there in a location I didn’t want to be in I’m not happy with quality inn in this location.

Rooms were very dated with significant wear and tear. Some light switches didn’t work or could possibly need new light bulbs. Downstair's lobby/ common area was fine. Beds and pillows were comfortable

The bed sunk in middle and was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!
