Although all inclusive this hotel had not much available food to offer. My husband and I arrived around 4:30 PM and after an exhausting day of traveling, we were hungry. At the reception, there was not a welcome table with water or any snack. The Buffet restaurant was about to close and dinner started at 6 pm. The problem was all the restaurants available, you needed a reservation and as a last minute call, we could not get one. Actually, was very difficult to get a reservation at the restaurants for the time we usually dine. The room is average with no alarm clock and ours were dusty. The balconies are very narrow. The bathroom didn’t have hair conditioner and lighting was to put make up on. All of the aquatic sport pictures you see online are PAYABLE. In our opinion, this is a three stars hotel. It didn’t offer anything that made you feel in a four or five star hotel. The staff were friendly and polite.

This was our second stay at the Barcelo Aruba. The hotel is ideally situated for us in the Palm Beach area. The staff in the hotel were excellent, particularly in The Beach Club where we mostly went to for breakfast and lunch where we were looked after by Claudia, Fernanda and Anny. In the Arubian Seafood Restaurant we were looked after by Edgard. The hotel has a very nice reception and lobby bar area, fantastic pool area with a short walk to the Barcelo Beach area. The only downside is although the rooms are comfortable they are dated and would benefit from some refurbishment.

Pool was scummy. Room did not have proper amount of towels. Buffet was sub par.

Very peaceful and beautiful resort. I would recommend that the pool stay open until 10pm for adults

I like the quickness, friendly staff , the food and family friendly atmosphere.there’s nothing not to like .my six nights were awesome,I will be be back soon.

Everyone was polite and respectful. Nice meals,nice activities and the pool area was well maintained. Rooms could be updated and maintained better

The staff was great and friendly bar service a bit slow at pool area and definitely not enough ice in drinks and ice machines didn’t work on at least 3 floors that we searched

Property was located in a great location. Easy walk to dining and shopping and excursions. Great staff and food. Resort is outdated including beds and linen.
