Horrible and nightmare experience during a crisis!

During the ice storm last Tuesday 10/27 in Oklahoma City. Which I had to get an hotel since the power was out so tried to book an hotel through the hotel.com site. When I’ve found one at Oaktree and suite on meridian Ave. When I got there and went to the front desk to check in which the hotel clerk said, “ the power went down and so the phone lines that connected to the phone and fax are still down.” So therefore, couldn’t check in and never did since the hotel didn’t get a fax of my confirmation that I made a payment for the room. So now, trying to get my refund and boy.. it’s taking forever for the f-ing process to get a waiver for my refund. So it’s been a horrible experience through this site and the hotel which I will not use them at all again. Especially through a crisis!!!
