A sanctuary
Veröffentlicht am 19.07.2020 auf HotelsThe hotel is tucked away in a private space and when we visited, thanks to Covid, occupancy rate was lower so it was quiet. Front desk lady was friendly and recommended a walk around the lake (1.5+ miles) which was very enjoyable.

The facility is very nice. Different than a lot of more mainstream hotels in that there isn't large signage with their name showing on the building and the parking lot is a little distance from where you can check in. Overall a nice facility.

Rooms were clean and fresh. Only downside was no fridges in the room! Otherwise, great!

Thank you so much for staying with us! We do have brand new refrigerators that we can bring to rooms upon request. There is a $10/night charge but we waive that if it is needed for medical reasons. We hope to see you again soon!

Okay if you are into dining amenities and convention center type experience. If, like most of us, you just need a clean place to flop for the night, i would suggest looking elsewhere. The hotel, although clean and well appointed, is dated and the beds are lumpy, small and in need of replacement. The drop off is fairly simple but whoever parks the car will be walking from the lot to the one main access door in front of hotel. I could drone on but, i think you get the picture....

Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry that you were disappointed with the rooms. We do have major updates coming in 2021, but in the meantime, I hope that if you come back this year you will enjoy sitting out by our lake, the walking paths, and everything else we have to offer on our 130 acres. It is truly something you can't usually find in the metro area.

This hotel was affordable and in a good location for what we needed. The rooms were simple but clean - basic. This facility was formerly a training center/hotel/dormitory for Ameriprise trainees. It doesn’t look like a hotel. It looks more like a school. It was absolutely fine, though. Just odd. My only real complaint was the lack of signage. There’s a sign when you drive in and some small signs along the winding road, but nothing that tells you where the lobby is. The name of the hotel isn’t even on the building. Again... Just odd.

Thank you for your feedback! Often times hotels have the large circle outside the front door as we do where you can double park to load and unload, but I will pass on your feedback so that we can see if there is something we can do to make it more clear for people who are not used to looking for that. We are the only building on the 130 acres but I can suggest some additional signage. I hope that you visit us when it is warmer out so that you can enjoy our lake and property!
