Reasonable prices in the bar for food and drink. Lots of places nearby to eat and drink, within walkable distance of most attractions

Great location. Very friendly staff. Area surrounding the hotel is a bit grittier than expected. Would not walk around by myself after dark.

Hotel was conveniently located in City Center next to shopping and restaurants. Liked the one meal we had for lunch there. All the staff were very nice and friendly. I gave them 4 stars because on checkout, we discovered that we owed a daily ‘resort’ fee in addition to what we had paid for the nightly room rate. Really…this felt like a complete money grab. Please put the cost of staying in your hotel in one room rate. It feels over the top to charge a resort fee for this hotel.

We always stay at this hotel when in Philly. This time I was trying to reach the hotel before arrival; but no one would ever pick up the phone (or call back). Emailing it took days to get a response.
