This is NOT a Ritz/Four Seasons (although sometimes they're the same price) but it was STILL an amazing trip. Travel agent booked the stay before i read other reviews, and I was a little worried headed there
Food was between GOOD and WOW. Best food in any all inclusive - good enough people would PAY to eat at the restaurants. Even the 'default' buffet dinner restaurant was outstanding.
Service CAN NOT BE BEAT. It's as good or better than a Ritz level place.
Drinks/bars are good - upgrade to ROYAL level for better liquors. stay away from the worst tequila in the world or ask for top shelf tequila at Royal places.
Annoying way to reserve/save the lounges/daybeds/palapas at the pool and beach. I wish Barcelo would apply their NOT HERE FOR 2 HOURS WE MOVE YOUR STUFF rule. People reserve them at 2/4/6am and then don't come down again till 10 or 11 or noon. I guess it's better than paying for them though (maybe)
Amazing trip, amazing people, amazing service, good to really good food, good drinks (really good with Royal). If we go back to Aruba, no doubt we'll head to Barcelo
