„My adult children, spouses, and grandkids ranging in age from 7 months to 20 all had an absolutely wonderful time hanging out in this spacioius house, swimming and hot tubbing, playing pool, and cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Two in our family even braved the river for a cold dunk before suana. The hosts were wonderfully responsive and helpful. Everyone had a blast. Highly recommend.“

„My main complaint was the listing said basic soaps To me that should include shower soap- all other places I have stayed have as well as shampoos We arrived at the property at 10 pm and had to go out to the store to buy soap so we could all shower in the morning That was the major disappointment. Otherwise the house is spacious and well kept“

„Nice property. It is a little isolated, in the middle of vast fields. No wifi or televisions, so be prepared for peaceful isolation. We struggled with tge flies and couldn't understand how they got inside. We bought some fly swatters and left tgem at the property for the next guest. Overall, it was a beautifully peaceful stay.“

„Location is great - overlooking the Erie Canal. Basic home is also great - spacious and accommodating. My family actually had a great time at our eclipse watching reunion. But there were a lot of irritating maintenance issues. Biggest was the front door key code lock would not lock from the outside. We finally figured out we could lock the front door from the inside and exit our whole group through the garage and still leave the house secure. „First time staying at North Cottage, and loved it! Spacious rooms, lovely decor, generous kitchen, and the most beautiful wide plank wood floors. Close to town, view of Skaneateles Lake. On the pristine Hobbit Hollow Farm property. We missed the big house - but this was delightful. Would definitely stay again. Appreciated the wine that was waiting for us. Olivia is a great host. We were very sorry when it was time to leave!“

„Owner was accommodating. Place was clean and nice for the price. The entrance was a little off putting but once you get past that, it was good to go. There is a bar downstairs that plays music into the night and morning but we slept through it. The A/C is very smart so we struggled to keep the temperature comfortable through the night.
