„This amazing house was ideal for 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. There was plenty of room for all of us and having the extra living room with TV meant we weren’t under each other’s feet all the time. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s a great place for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and further afield. We went to Berwick on Tweed and had a great, value for money, lunch at Limoncello, 3 course lunch for £6.95 would definitely recommend. The coffee shop next ...

„We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future.“

„I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents who are in their eighties. Everything is on one level so it was perfect for them. I was able to park close by which was a bonus as they have a wheelchair. It’s a beautiful place to stay if like us you just want to be able to have a holiday which is accessible. Lindisfarne is a stunning island to visit and although we didn’t go off road they thoroughly enjoyed their short break here. If you’re a walker you couldn’t pick a more perfect base.“

„We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies ...

„The House was very clean and tidy. We were eight persons and had enough space. The surrounding is very nice and you have a spectacular view to the sea. Berwick with various supermarkets is near by and you get easily to Edinburgh and Glasgow by train. We‘ve enjoyed our trip.“
