„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. „Our small family, including our dog, spent the New Year in the house. It is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything to make it cozy. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of board games. Lorraine, our host, was very friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. We especially indulged in the world's best brownies. The surroundings are ideal for visiting the most famous spots (Rubha Hunish, Quiraing, Man of Storr, etc.). All in all, a perfect stay!“

„The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Das Fischerhaus befindet sich in dem kleinen Ort Staithes (direkt an der Nordseeküste) und ist ein niedlicher, charmanter Küstenort. Der Ort ist fantastisch zum enstapannen, als Ausgangsort für Ausflüge und zum Wandern. Nun zum Haus selber. Das Fischerhaus ist in Staithes selber sehr zentral gelegen, direkt am Weg zum Parkplatz. „Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.“

„A very good equipped house with a little garden. The small village of Mere is almost next to Stourhead House and Gardens. Even other attractions of the counties Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset are easy to reach. Our host Helen was very friendly with a lot of recomandations for activities.“
