Hotel is in a great shape, comfortable rooms, good location, nice restaurant upstairs. Gym is basic. Front desk service was not extremely great plus they forgot that we booked ferry pick-up.

Sehr gut in zentraler Lage Stonetown
Tolles Hotel in zentraler Lage in Stonetown. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Zimmer und des Hotels. Frühstücksbuffet ist von aller feinsten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Der Check in hat nicht ganz so funktioniert, aber das wurde durch eine nette Geste des Hotels wieder ausgeglichen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man kann alles zu Fuß erledigen in Stone Town. Von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Stadt. Das haben wir beim Frühstück sehr genossen. Unser Zimmer war eine Suite, sehr schön. Irrtümlich hatten wir vorher ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, das war auch schön.

Super Service
Ein sehr gutes Hotel in StoneTown, das besonders beim Service sehr gut punkten kann. Egal ob ich kurzfristig eine Tour machen wollte oder die Tickets für die Fähre nach Daressalam brauchte, hat alles immer pünktlich und gut geklappt. Auch das Personal im Restaurant war freundlich und gut.

Überwiegend geschäftlicher Aufenthalt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer gut gefüllt und der Service freundlich. Alle Wünsche wurden wohlwollend geürüft und konnten meist bewilligt werden. SEHR bequemes Bett! Ich kann das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der einen soliden, qualitativ im Umfeld gesehen hochwertigen Hotelaufenthalt wünscht.

The hotel is just perfect for a stay in the city center of Stonetown. It is clean, the rooms are very large, the personnel is friendly and the location is central. And, the breakfast is the best of everything!!!

Very Good hotel
Ein sehr gutes Hotel in toller Lage, der Flughafen ist etwa 10-15 Minuten entfernt, die Fähre etwa 5 Minuten. Zu Fuss kann die Innenstadt sehr gut erkundet werden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und lösungsorientiert was in diesem Land nicht so üblich ist. Da es unsere Hochzeitsreise war haben wir ein Upgrade erhalten, eine tolle Torte erhalten und Früchte. Das Zimmer war wirklich wunderschön nach einem kleinen Zwischenfall bekamen wir mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit ein weiteres Upgrade, sodass wir in einer Suite übernachten konnten auch unsere fälschliche Doppelbuchung wurden mit einem kostenlosen Transfer zum nächsten Hotel ausgeglichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit einer schönen Aussicht. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Great location in old part of Stone Town
We spent the last night on Zansibar in Double Tree by Hilton. It was the perfect closure of our dream trip to Tansania. The hotel is great located, in quiet part of the OldTown, the roof restaurant has a beutiful view and really tasteful food and beverages. The room was comfortable, clean, cosy.

Great Quality & Service
We spent one night here to explore Stone Town, and this was the perfect vantage point. The hotel is upper class standard, for -- in our opinion -- an acceptable price. We were able to walk directly from the front door to the most obligatory sightseeing points (i.e., Palace Museum, Forodhani Park, and into the historic section of town with its narrow streets and things to discover at every turn). After all that exciting hustle and bustle it was nice to be able to just walk right back to the hotel, take a nice hot shower and sleep on a luxuriously comfortable mattress. Our rooms were of a very good size, comfortable and spacious. Also: The breakfast buffet is delicious, offering a nice variety of choices.

Loved it all. So much so that we have booked to stay again before we fly home. Lovely staff, nice pool, a very good breakfast and other meals we had intermittently were great. Near everything.

Great Place to Stay
Hotel is very nice and well kept. Staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. We really enjoyed our time in this hotel and Zanzibar in general.
